This is not very much information to go on, but I will say that it sounds like one of 2 basic problems.

1) The compressor is pulling high amps and should be replaced
2) It may be a weak breaker that trips before the proper amp load is reached.

The best guess is that you have a bad thermostat. When the compressor shuts off it has to stay off for a long enough period of time for the low pressure high pressure to equalize. If it turns the compressor off and back on immediately it can't start against the heavy load created by these unequal pressures. If it will start every time after sitting for 10 minutes the thermostat is making it short cycle.

Duo Therm A/C (2009 Sabre RV) won't shut off

bad compressor relay on control board. The relay is not opening the circuit, allowing the compressor to stay running when unit is turned off. This overheats the compressor and opens a thermal disk shutting the compressor off. When thermal disk cools down, the compressor restarts under load and trips breaker.

I have a Quick Cool (59516.501) which just started tripping the 20 A circuit breaker. I replaced the circuit breaker. Unit still trips the circuit breaker.

you will need to access the unit and look for burnt/shorted wires on/at compressor. if not then the compressor is locked down/shorted and will need replaced Tim

The circuit breaker is tripped after the ac is turned on.

Either the circuit beaker is overloaded (check to make sure no other electrical appliances are on that same circuit) or the unit draws more amperage than the what the circuit breaker can handle,. Or the there is an electrical short in the AC unit. Also, check the receptacle that the unit's cord is plugged into for damage, loose wire or broken or cracked socket.

Those are the things you start troubleshooting first.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

Trips circuit breaker

If the unit is new then the unit may be over-sized for the electrical circuit. If the unit is not new then the compressor may be failing

Air conditions trips circuit, wont stay running.

Is it a window unit?
Did you check that the condensor coil is free of dirt?
Is the Fan motor running or does it stop before the breaker blows?

A/C unit turned off- didnt realize we had a mat covering the unit

Hello,
If the breaker had tripped, you'd detect some looseness in the trip switch, even though it may not appear to be tripped. Once you have identified the correct breaker, trip it to OFF and then back to ON. Also check at the unit; it will either have a service disconnect, a fused disconnect or a circuit breaker at the wall. Compressor units have a thermal relay that causes them to shut down on high temperature. Let the unit cool down thoroughly. If this is the issue, and you are standing close enough, you may hear it reset when it cools. Usually, cool down occurs in 30 minutes or less. Try it again, but don't leave it unattended until it has made it through several cycles and you are confident that the unit is back to nornal. If any further issues develop from this incident, shut the unit down, trip the circuit breaker for the unit to off and call a serviceperson.
I hope this gets you going again!

Best regards, W/D

Fan works, but if A/C turned on, trips breaker within a few minut

You need to verify if the problem is the unit or the breaker.  To do this, you will need to measure the current it is pulling from the power source.
If the unit is pulling too much current, then the unit is the problem.  If the unit is pulling as much or less than its rated current draw, then the circuit breaker is worn out.
The units WILL pull more power when hot outside.  It should not trip a breaker unless something is wrong with either the unit or the breaker.
A current draw test will tell you for sure.
If it's not the breaker, then it's probably low refigerant causing the issue.
