Question about Mitsubishi WT-42315 42" TV
I press the power button and absolutely nothing happens. No click, no hum, just nothing. Could it be a fuse? Could it be the Power supply? I'm lost and I would like some advice before I call a technician to fix it.
Yes it can be either a Fuse or the power board itself. First lets talk about the fuse. What we are looking for is a burnt ceramic fuse
that will look like this http://www.radioshack.com/sm-ceramic-and-thermal-fuses--fi-2032300_cp-2032058.2032234.html
Check the rating( something like 5v, 2A or something like that) and get replacements with the same values. Should cost you around 10$ for 6 of them. If this doesn't help then its gotta be the powerboard and if this is the case then the powerboard is not user servicable. You will have to get it replaced! Good luck!
