Question about Sewing Machines

1 Answer

Hi I have a Babylock model 1750 Denim Pro. The larger wheel on the right of the machine will not move when I press on the foot pedal. I hear the motor, but because the wheel won't move, then I can't sew while using the pedal. Manually turning the inside wheel works, but I can't sew like that. Help!?

So you can turn the wheel manually but the same wheel that turns manually does not turn with the foot pedal. But when you press the foot pedal you hear the motor engage and move / rotate? If so then the motor assembly has a problem on your sewing machine...

Please confirm the scenario I wrote here is in fact what is going on with your machine.

Just reply to my answer here and I can help.

Thanks,
Tim

I have a Baby Lock Pro Denim model 1750 sewing machine. Where can I download the instruction manual?

I haven't been able to locate a free download for any Baby Lock model in all of my searches over the months. However, you can download a manual for this model for $10 at http://www.sewingmanualsonline.com/instruction-manual-babylock-1750.aspx. Not too bad to know how to use your machine.

Winding the bobbin - Simplicity Denim Start SW210

you have to move the lever so as to engage it to the wheel. Don't thread the thread all the way to the needle. only lead it around the top position. Disengage the small wheel on the right so that the needle doesn't go up and down.
