If you have the 2004-2006 model P2's the cover actually pulls right off, it is held on magnetically.

2007-2008 you break off the silver piece (pole vent cover?) that says RF on it. its glued in. then the actual cover itself is screwed in.

NOT SURE WHICH ONE YOU MIGHT BE REFERING TO.
Hope this helps.

Saeco Magic problem. The magnet rises when I fill the water tank off the machine but, it drops as soon as I make a cup of coffee. To clear, I have to remove the tank and reset the machine. Any help?

hi,
what do you mean by "it drops" ? If it doesn't float anymore, you have to replace it. Remove the top cover of the small tube where the magnet floats, replace the floating magnet and replace the cover.
If the cover doesn't seat properly, glue it with a drop of silicone so you can remove it next time.
If the magnet floats but is not recognized by the inside detector (the small white block you can see inside the machine, in front of the magnet), it is probably because the magnetism has fainted with time. Replace it with a new one.
Hope that helps.
M.

Removing timing gear on 1988 buick reatta

Without writing a book, jack up the car and remove the passanger side tire...best access via the wheel opening...you must remove the harmonic balancer, water pump and timing cover to replace the timing gear. Unless you have lots of miles they go a long time.
The cam magnet is behind the cam sensor, remove it and manually rotate the engine until the hole in the cam is visible. You might find the old magnet. Clean out the hole, glue in the plastic holder and magnet.

How do i stop lights going on on door opening ?

If your fridge has a manual door switch which gets pushed when door is closed, then you can tape up the door switch.
Some fridges have a magnetic sensor, so you can cover the sensor with a magnet.
Failing those you can remove the light globe.

The bottom part of the cover for my oil tank fell into the oil tank. Is there a way to remove the cover to get it out without removing the entire oil tank?

I'm not familiar with the cover you're talking about. If it's made of metal, you may can get it out with a magnetic tool retriever. If it is not magnetic, you'll have to remove the tank.

The tank is not difficult to remove. I think the tank has three bolts and you'll probably have to remove the battery tray on the other side. Disconnect the hoses and remove the tank.

Good Luck
