That sounds like a sample letter, you should be able to just leave that there, or possibly delete it.

Please explain the problem more... I think that is just the sample that comes with the program though and is meant to be there.

Please let me know though, just reply to my answer here and I can help.

Thanks
Tim

I have a Cannon Pixma MX320 all in one printer and I cant get it to stop saying document in ADF

Issue: ERROR LCD: DOCUMENT IN ADF
Solution: Remove foreign object from the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) - MX310
Check the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for obstructions
Follow this procedure to check the ADF for obstructions. You do not need to turn off the power when clearing document jams.
Document jams in the ADF (Document Tray)
  1. Press <Stop/Reset>.

  2. If a multi-page document is loaded, remove any documents other than the jammed page from the ADF, then open the Feeder Cover.

  3. Remove the jammed page from under the roller to the Feeder Cover side.

    remjammed.gif
  4. Pull out the jammed document from the ADF. If the document cannot be easily pulled out, proceed to section Document jams in the ADF (inner side).

    pullout.gif

  5. After removing the jammed document or if a document is not jammed, check the document feed area to make sure there is no foreign material. If you find foreign material, carefully remove it.
  6. Close the Feeder Cover.

Note : If documents remain in the ADF after pressing the Stop/Reset button during scanning, "DOCUMENT IN ADF" appears on the LCD. Press the OK button so that the remaining document is automatically fed out.

When rescanning the document after clearing the error, rescan it from the first page.

Note: The document may not feed properly depending on the media type, or your environment, such as when the temperature and humidity are either too high or too low.
In this case, reduce the number of document pages to approximately half of the loading capacity. Another alternative is to scan from the platen glass
    .

  • If documents remain in the ADF after pressing <Stop/Reset> during scanning, [Document in ADF] will appear on the LCD. Press <OK> so that the remaining document is automatically fed out.
  • When rescanning the document after clearing the error, rescan it from the first page.

I am trying to send my Resume to an employer. Whenever I try to paste my resume from windows vista documents to a new email, I get kicked out of the system. Help I need to send my resume today!

what application are you using??
OS doesn't control applications.
you can save the documents in 97-2003 Micrososft word format. Since Vista use Microsoft 2007 with extension of DOCC. Majority of the company have not yet inpleement 2007. it is safer to send the document in earlier version.

Note:
DO NOT SEND COVER LETTER AND RESUME IN THE E-MAIL ITSELF. SEND IT AS ATTACHEDMENT. E-MAIL IS ONLY FOR HEARDER, AND POINTS TO THE ATTACHEMENT.

Believe me, I know!

Deleting file from Excel also from recently created documents.

Hi jv_oberg,

The recent documents area of excel is just a snapshot of what it last opened, it's not really linked that document to excel. Eventually, after you open enough documents it will fall off the list. However, if it something that you would like to change, you can

  1. Click on Office button, and then click on Word Options (in Word 2007) or Excel Options (in Excel 2007) or PowerPoint Options (in PowerPoint 2007) in the bottom of Office Menu.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Display section.
  4. Set the value for Show this number of Recent Documents: to 0 (zero). no-of-recent-docs.jpg
  5. Click OK button.
  6. Repeat steps above again, and set back the value for the number of Recent Documents to show to its original default, i.e. 17. If you don’t want this particular Office 2007 application to remember any Recent Documents, you can leave the value at 0 and skip this step.

That will clear your recent documents.

Good Luck,

Mark

Documents to go premium edition

Step one is make sure that the application is compatible with your operating system and that you have the latest patches, updates. Once done try again if you had to download anything from the vendor's site. While at the vendor's site check FAQ's and if they have support follow the instructions. Step 2....assuming it failed again is to run scandisk in thorough mode (assume you have windows of some version or other) to fix any cross linked files. Step 3 is to download (free) Ccleaner and run both the windows and application cleanup capabilities and then run the registry cleaner....(don't worry the latter is fail safe but create a restore point just in case). Step 4....given you have tried to reinstall your application again and it failed is either to get a new copy of the cd or restore, repair, or reinstall your operating system and perhaps both. I would try the former first; the latter can take a lot of time to reload all yoru applications if you have to
"start from scratch." Hope this helps....Tango
