Hi there!

Make sure that your wi-fi is turned on, or did not make any complications after replacing your hardware. You need to return your laptop where you had it fixed and tell to the technician the issue.

Dell 810 says it has no wireless adapters.

The wireless adapter on the D810 was an optional component and therefore it is possible you did not have installed. You can go to control panel - administrative tools - computer management and click on the device manager on the left hand side to determine the installed components in your system. If you find that the network adapter is not there, you can purchase a USB NIC for about $10.00 these days and install that. It will work the same, if not better than the one installed.

I installed a new Hard drive to D810 and keep getting an error

Try removing the Hard Drive and then installing it again. Go into F2 Setup to see if the hard drive is listed there. Until you can get it listed there it won't work. It could be it is not installed correctly or is not a valid HD.

WIFi catcher

You can drive around with your laptop,You cannot look at the indicator and know when your near a "station" .You can however look at the wireless status page and see any available "stations". The led simply says that your wireless is turned on.You cannot do anything with the laptop turned off.You only need drivers if you don't have wireless drivers already loaded.

Hope this answered all your question.
