Sure.

The yellow and white wires you have are called RCA connectors. There aka media cables too. You should have male ends that can connect to the output of your TV by matching the colors.

I just need to need to know what kind of connects you have on you camera to record the TV signals with.

To record movies to your player. You have to have 2 RCA outputs in the back of your tv. If you have a VCR or a DVD recorder, you can use the output jacks out of those. The yellow cord will plug into the video. The white cord will plug into the audio. Sounds like the player doesn't record in stereo unless you have a red one as well. If so plug that into the other audio jack in the back of the tv.

Use the AV in on your camera to plug the rest of the connection in. Tune your tv into what you want to record and set your camera for record.

I'm afraid this camera does not have any possibility to do manual focus. Not with stills and for sure not with recording video.
The only thing to help you focus on a certain object, that is not in the centre of the frame, is the focus lock. You have to point at the object you want to focus on, then press focus lock and than you can choose the composition you want to shoot. Focus lock occurs when you press the shutter release button half.
For video, the manual only says put the rail on the film camera and press the shutter release button once. The video will be stopped after 12 seconds. (or when you press the button again.
That is all.

This is a solution, probably resolve your problems as well, for converting VHS to DVD, its a tip I posted some time ago, might help you out:-

There appears to be quite a few problems with people trying to convert their video tapes to DVD using a PC and propriety converters, editing programmes etc.

Friends have also has such issues, lip synch being one of the most prolific.

I've successfully converted mine, without too much issue and managed to avoid these issues.

I hook up my VHS recorder with a DVD recorder2_bing.gif which also has a HDD. Daisy chaining it on to a TV to monitor. All with scart leads.

Play the tape, record to the DVD hard drive. Finally edit and dub to DVD.

Have fun ..............

How do I transfer my .mov files from camera to dvd player?

Did you finalize the DVD when you finished burning it? Did you choose to have the ability to add more data to the DVD (not recommended) or to record in a single session?

Easier solution. Your record setting are on AVCHD best for playing HD on TV. set your camera to HD JPEG and you can watch it on your PC and save it aswell through software provided. Also if you want to save recording that are already on AVCHD just conect to a DVD recorder and record it to DVD or use free software like Media Classic but I prefer not to add too many media software products as they can cause conflits and more problems

I have a Canon A540 digital camera . we can copy video clips to DVD and this can be played onto my notebook BUT we cannot play these clips through the DVD recorder onto the TV. Can you please...

Hi, DVD players can only play DVD Standard format and some standard codec (divx,...), so if you want to play your clip in a DVD player you must convert them to the standard format... an easy way is useing nero express:  nero express > video > DVD, then add yor clips, make a nice menu and then burn it on DVD. Also you can use Nero vision for better menus or Ulead DVD movie factory for even better Menu if you can spend money. ;) I hope this helps.

Some cameras you CANNOT play back on the camera, but it only works on the computer. Nothing is wrong, because that camera is basic. So yeah.
