Question about Fisher and Paykel AeroTech Double OD302 Electric Oven

1 Answer

My Fisher Paykel AeroTek OD302 double oven has failed, the lower oven no longer heats after using the self cleaning cycle. I've heard that there is a "field" temp reset that has to be performed by a service technician. Anyone know what this procedure is? Also, would like to know where the serial number is... don't want to have to pull this wall oven out of its mount without knowing where to look for the serial number.

get an electrician in to fix it
the red wire is normally the active (power wire) and the blue is the neutral wire
if you fit the blue to a red terminal then you could be dead, blow the circuit or blow a circuit breaker

Bottom oven not heating. Both light and fan are working.

If fan is working o/k then it is usually the oven element that is faulty, this should be located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

What is the f7 fault code

I have the double wall ovens. The lower oven read door lock & flashed F7. Check to make sure the lock is not sticking out a bit, it is on the left side of the oven. I'm not sure if this is what the f7 fault code is, but it worked for me :)

The thermostats have probably blown. There is a rebuild kit for this problem, it is not cheap nor is the labor to do it. Try shutting off the breaker for a few minutes... sometimes it will reset, but not heat. In any event you should have the new thermostat kit installed. F/P should at least be able to give you the tele. of a Tech., keep in mind that depending on where you live there are very few technicians that are certified to fix these.
