Question about Speed Queen AWS17NW Top Load Washer
There's no such run capacitor for this machine and the problem is likely in the motor itself as you suspected. The motor sounds like locking up during the spin cycle or the spin windings are faulty. In either case, the only viable solution is replacing the motor. Disconnect power then verify this condition by removing the belt from the motor pulley then reconnecting power and starting the machine in the spin cycle. The motor is indeed faulty and needs to be replaced if the motor just hums and doesn't run.
