Question about Keurig B60 Coffee Maker

1 Answer

My Keurig turns on, but stops warming the water before it is ready to brew. The light turns off and the status stays at Not Ready. I've found that if I unplug the unit, turn it back on, the pot then warms again for a while. If I repeat this enough times, eventually the status changes to Ready To Brew. I can brew a cup, but it doesn't seem to be as hot as before, and of course, the flavor is weak.

There is a problem with the thermal sensor of your coffee maker. The sensor is no longer accurate in sensing the right temperature.

Dismantle the bottom panel of the coffee maker and look for the thermal sensor which is usually attached to a steel component which is connected to the heater . Check if there is a corrosion on its surface try to clean it. If it does not fix the problem, replace it.

Is there water in it? There probably is so the next thing to try is to lift the tray and close it again after the machine is ready to brew. This resets the brewing function. Good luck.

Water reservoir may not be seated properly or filled above the Max line. Did you do a purge and establish filling the hot water reservoir?

Keurig B66 coffee maker randomly stays on and brews.

I have called Keurig and gotten replacements for units... however... all keurigs will heat water... then stop... after a while, the water will get cool, and the unit will cycle on.
when you say shuts itself off, the whole unit does Dark?
If the whole unit goes dark, then you may have a bad overtemp sensor... most if not all appliances will have this featurew to shutdown everything if the sensors detect a higher then normal temperature.

If that's happening... call Keurig and tell them this,,, they should honor the warranty and ask you to send them you K-cup holder as proof of ownership... then you will get a replacement.
you now have a unit for parts or to sell on ebay for parts...

I can allways use the parts... :)

My Keurig B66 will no longer pump water up to brew, I have had this less than 6 mos, what should I do?

it seems that it does not pump water in, after switching it to ON, it stays running for a few minutes then shuts OFF without even showing "READY TO BREW"..
