The only way to change your security code is by formatting your phone thru this code *2767*3855#, but let me warn you, if you proceed on this method, all data of yours will be gone.

good luck....

What should i have to do for change security code?

Your Nokia phone was designed with a default security code of 12345.

To change it,
1. Go to 'settings' on your phone.
2. Then 'security'.
3. Then 'access codes'.
4. Then 'change security code'.
5. When you select to change security code,
it would prompt you to enter the security code (initial one, ie. 12345).
6.When you have entered the intial one, it would prompt for the new code.
7. Enter any 5- digtit new code of yours.
8. It would prompt for a confirmation.
9. Re enter the new code.

And your security code is changed. But remember to use number you can easily remember.

Hope that was helpful?
Regards.

How can i reformat my n95 series??? plz help me

There are three methods by which you can do this.
Read to the end before you proceed.
One of them is by doing the soft reset.
All you have to do in this method is to type in *#7780# on the home-screen and it would bring up a prompt for you to format your phone. Select yes and wait for the process to finish and the phone would restart.
This process is not likely to wipe out all your information or data on the phone but it is required you make a back-up of your phone before choosing any of the format methods.
Secondly, you can perform a hard reset.
To do this, on the home-screen all you have to do is to type in *#7370# and go through the same process as the first one.
In this method, everything is wiped out of your phone and you are advised to make a back-up too before you proceed. This would take a longer time and would change everything back to normal.
NB: If you choose any of the two methods above, you would be required to input your security code.
Lastly, the most secure way is by performing the 3-button reset or format.
This is done by simultaneously holding down 3 buttons on your phone.
1. You turn off your phone,
2. Hold down the Number "3" button, * button and the green/call button,
3. Whilst holding these buttons, turn on your phone and don't leave them,
4. Wait till the phone starts up and asks you to go through the initial set-up before you leave the buttons.
NB: Any method you choose, make sure that your battery is fully charged or plugged in on charge. If the battery dies off half-way through, it could cause problems in your phone.
Also, remember to make a back-up of your files before proceeding.

I want your phone locker?

Hello,

You can set up a security code to lock your Nokia 6288 keypad in case a thief tries to call from your stolen phone

Published on Mar 14, 2007

You can set up a security code to lock your Nokia 6280's keypad in case your phone opens in your pocket and calls one of your contacts, annoying them and potentially running up a huge bill.

The code will also stop a thief from using your stolen Nokia 6280 to run up a huge phone bill before you can alert your network provider.

To set the security code, click Menu > Settings > Phone > Security keyguard. You'll be prompted for the Security code. By default this is 12345. Enter this and press OK. Select On and click Select to see the message 'Security keyguard activated'.

Now when you slide your phone shut and press Lock, you'll see the message 'Keypad locked with security code'.

When you slide it open, you'll be prompted to enter the security code. Type your code and click OK to activate your keypad.

Of course, if any potential phone thieves are reading this, they'll now know the default security code is 12345.

To change the security code, go to Menu > Settings > Security > Access codes > Change security code. When prompted, enter your current security code and click OK. The enter your new security code (a PIN between 5 and 10 digits in length), click OK and enter the new code again to verify it. Click OK and you'll see the message 'Security code changed'.
Hope this helps.

My nokia 1209 is not ringing when call coming and when I want to change Ring Tone it is rebooted. Then I try to restore nokia 1209 with "Restore factory default" setting but when I do this I am prompted...

Hi

The default lock code is 12345.

If you changed it and forgot the security code please contacts your device dealer. They will reinstall the software fully and they will bring your mobile to default security code so that you can open your phone.

NOTE: While reinstalling the software all your contacts will be deleted.

While reinstall the software, device dealer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will start the process.

This security code is FREE. You no need to pay any sum to get the security code

Thank You

I need to know the ulock code for a motorola w376g cell phone

Your phone’s four-digit unlock code is originally set to 1234 or to the last four digits of your phone number.
The six-digit security code is originally set to 000000.
Your service provider may reset these codes before you get your phone.
If your service provider didn’t change these codes, you should change them to prevent others from accessing your personal information. The unlock code must contain four digits. The security code must contain six digits.
To change a code or password:
Find it: Settings > Security > New Passwords
You can also change your SIM PIN codes or callbarring password.
Select the type of code you want to change, enter the old code when prompted, and then enter the new code.
If you forget your unlock code: At the Enter Unlock Code: prompt, try entering 1234 or the last four digits of your phone number. If that doesn’t work, contact your service provider.
If you forget other codes: If you forget your security code, SIM PIN code, PIN2 code, or call barring password, contact your service provider.

here's what my instruction booklet says:

Changing the Security Code

The default security code for accessing the answering system from another location is 1 2 3. You must use the handset to change the security code. With the phone OFF (not in TALK mode), follow these steps:

1. Press the FLASH/answerer/Call wait button to display ANSWERER REMOTE.
2. Press the *EXIT/TONE button.
3. Enter the new 3-digit security code.
4. Press the *EXIT/TONE button again. The unit announces the new code, pauses, beeps, and then announces the menu options again.

hope that helps
