Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Welcome to Fixya!
Yellow color in the device manager means that it is a driver problem. Download Device Doctor. Device Doctor is a freeware that scans your computer for driver updates and locates drivers for unknown device.
Click on download. After the download, go to Downloads folder and click the devicedoctore.exe files. Installation will start. After the installation, there will be a pop up window will ask you if you would like to begin scan. Just click on it. Scanning will begin. You will see driver updates needed, click download.
Hope this helps.

This is so because you need to install the correct audio drivers for your sound controller. You need to go to the manufacturers website and download and install the latest Audio Driver for your system. Then your sound will work.
