first you must have an ISP Internet Service provider which will provide you with a modem and leads you can choose either a dial up,usb,or an ethernet connection to connect to the net or if you have a laptop you can choose a wireless usb modem which can work on a desktop aswell once you recieve the modem just insert the disk provided and follow the prompts

Computer not reading mouse

First.... Plug your reciever into another USB port, wait for it to install itself (Window 7, Vista) you'll know when you see the notification that you software has been sucessfully.

if XP, you'll need drivers by going to http://www.hp.com, select <Support> from top of page, right-most side. Click Driver Downloads and type your reciever model into the search box. Wait for a confirmation i.e.. a page showing a picture of your device and/or choices of potential devices with similar models; pick yours. However, I have not yet come across a wireless mouse or mouse/keyboard combo that didn't install itself.

Next: The Mouse Does Require Batteries. Be sure they are placed correctly; they go into the top of the mouse in older models (the part where your hand rests, slides back to reveal the battery compartment). Newer Models usually have a standard, common, battery compartment on bottom.

The optical laser bulb should light when the batteries are placed correctly. If the light (red in older models, blue in newer models), if no light, check/replace your batteries. No light, check your warranty.

Just purchased it used. Both battries show

If the horn won't work, the batteries are dead. If the charger is showing green lights, most likely the gel inside the batteries has gone solid from the chair being stored for a while. Replace both batteries with type U1, 24v, 33 amps and see if that will clear the problem. The fuses are regular automotive type fuses.

i just got off the phone with logitech tech support about my 'dead keyboard'. I have a logitech wireless keyboard/mouse ex100. the mouse still worked and the keyboard just quit all of the sudden like. THE FIX! 1. Make sure in your device manager that the keyboard is still connected and working properly. if it is...
2. then remove the batteries and type on the keyboard for 10 seconds or so.
3. Then reinsert the batteries.
4. press the left alt key, left control key, and the f12 key all at the same time.
5. Then press the connect button on the reciever
6. press the connect button on the keyboard
7. press the escape button on the keyoard
8. test the keyboard
it worked for me :) that's how i was able to type this. hope it works for you

Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard are not working, i think that the reciever has no connection due to interferance. do i have to replace the reciever with a new one or is there a quick fix solution?

You can check to ensure you are not having problems with your USB port by checking Device Manager. Click on start>right-click My Computer>properties>Hardware Tab>Device Manager. If there is a Yellow! by one of the USB controllers then right click on it and click install drivers. You can also, uninstall drivers then reboot and your computers plug n play will pick the USB up automatically. Try it, its the quickest fix possible.

Don't forget to rate this solution.

The USB ports all share a single power source. It may be that the Ipod being added overloads the connections.

You might want to consider purchasing a USB hub, but make sure you get one with a Power Adapter to boost the current to your devices.

Microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 3000 Doesnt seem to work?

Okay, a coworker had this problem and it was a fairly easy fix, first, plug the USB reciever into a direct USB port, then pess the connect button on the underside of the mouse, when the red light starts blinking let go and then press it and hold, and at the SAME TIME press and hold the connect button on the receiver until both the receiver light and the mouse light turn on steadily, and voila!
