I just bought it to a friend of mine, it has no manual and i dont know how to download the pic or videos to my computer! Do I need to install something? I just pluged in the usb cable and it appears in the camera monitor but not in the computer. How do I download the pictures and videos?

sansa media converter is a program you should have received on a disc when you bought the player you will need to install it on your computer in order to put pics or video on the player, if you dont have it go to this website and see if you can download it. www.sandisk.com

If your at a computer with itunes installed you could copy your friends music into the computer, then unplug your friends device, plug in yours, and copy the music into yours.

i also encountered this long ago. what you need to do is re install your sound drivers that can be found with the CD when you bought that computer.

if in the event that you dont have this cd, you can be a member of DriverGuide.com and let them find the sound driver of your computer.

Get your friend to download windows media player for you. Usually the computer will recognise the mp3 device automatically but it depends if you have xp sp2 installed. YOu can get hold of it via P2P so you dont need to go through the xp genuine check

You need to use the Sansa Media Converter to transfer pix or videos.
