Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t 14.1" Notebook Laptop PC (Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, D... PC Notebook
My HP laptop freezes up once its been loaded. It might work for a few minutes then freeze up. After that it won't start or it will freeze during the start-up process. The start-up manager doesn't seem to help.
It seems like you have some over heating issues. Compressed air can should do the job by the vents. If you're able to pull the cpu fan and heat sink assembly, then do so and clean them out. a tube of thermal grease will definitely help. you can apply it on to the CPU but make sure you clean out that no good factory grease before applying the new one.
best of luck
