If it takes no pictures then you set it for day only. If it takes pictures that are black then the capacitor that controls the flash is not functional.

I just bought a tasco trail camera. I set it up by the manual that came with it. It will take a couple of pictures and then it seems to shut off. If I take the batterys out and reinstall them it will work...

Hi.

Are the batteries fully charged? It is recommended that you fully charge the batteries first before you use the camera as the camera can literally eat batteries.

If you have fully charged the batteries and the camera still only allows you to take a few shots then I suggest that you take/send the camera back and have it replaced.

Regards.

I just bought, last August, a Tasco Digital Trail Camera - 119223C . Took pictures until Jaunary 2011, my camera display shows Loc and the SD Card flashes. The instruction manual does not reference this setup code. Does anyone know what 'Loc' means? I tried to reformat card, I also so not get a Y/N option for formatting. I bought a new card and changed batteries. no change!

I have a tasco trail camera, and i need to know what driver i need to install so i can upload the pictures from my trail camera to my laptop

Okay, I spent a lot of time refusing to accept that I couldn't get my tasco trail cam to work with my computer. I did figure it out though, to my relief. Tasco's directions are a little vague, but here it is: turn camera on, don't connect it to usb port, yet. After it turns on, push menu button, now connect it to your usb port. Disregard when it asks about installing driver software. If you follow these steps your computer will recognize it as another drive and ask open folder to view files, etc.

I bought a tasco trail camera and had 29 pictures and 25 of them were just a blank black pic. Help!!!!!

Those are night time photos and your flash is not functioning. The capacitor is burned up. Somebody could make a fortune selling the capictors because these little $50 pieces of WalMart **** are only meant to last one deer season, or about 8 weeks. A common problem, but apparently guys who forget a password is even more common. You do not need a password. Skip that step.
