Open the printer settings from the control panel and set the printer preferences from there.
You can also click start menu, then click printers and faxes on the computer onto which the printer is installed. When the list of printers are shown, right click on the printer whose settings you want to change. Select printing preferences. Select the printing color settings set appropriately.

The color does not print anymore, only the black thank you, jacques los angeles

Printers usually have two separate ink cartridges. Depending on the cartridge that is over exerted in print jobs is depleted faster than the remaining one. Open the ink compartment to ascertain the ink models to make possible acquisition for replacement from retail. Ink acquisitions may require verification for the appropriate models and brands. Extracting the depleted ink cartridge as reference comparison at retail enables appropriate ink selections compatible with the printer.

I just installed one of the so called profesional color ink cartrige refills on my dell printer and it will only print blue. Do you have any suggestions to open the rest of the colors

Head cleaning is always an option. Your software should install a toolbox in your printer properties.

Asuming you have WinXP or Vista... just go to start, printers and right click on the appropriate printer and click properties. You should find head cleaning there somewhere.

Oh, and also check the expiry date on the cartridge box; might be that the cartridge is dry.

Always used hp tri-color print cartridge in in my hp psc 2355 all-in-one printer. Has stopped working. Says printer has wrong tri-color cartridge inserted

Check manual for appropriate cartridge class for tri color and use same numbers as in manual you may be using 22 cartridge for 28 for example for your printer this cartridges look the same in all aspects but some HP printers can only be used by only one of this types. Check printer manual for compatible ink cartridges. And if you have been refiling the old cartridge you need to get a new one to reset the computer cartridge memory count.

Cannon IP 90 Printer

Your tech suggested that I remove both of the ink tanks (black & color) and turn off the printer and then re-start the printer.
After I did that, there was no futher problem, and the printer worked fine with appropriate colors.
