Did you clean out the lint filter at the front, heat is the enemy. Clean out all lint from front, if you are handy, get around back and remove all lint and dust by blowing compressed air.

E1 shows and i unplug the unit and it will run for about 2mins and shut down with e1 showing

The E1 error code indicates that the air intake filter is dirty or clogged and needs to be removed and cleaned. Turn the unit OFF & unplug it, before removing the filter. Never operate the unit without the filter in place. Doing so, can damage the unit.

Hope this helped you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

How to clean the dust out of the fan? its becoming very hot when in use.

Normally there is a dust filter on the fan and must be cleaned on occassions when you think that the PC is working hot. In some cases the PC will be shut off as the thermistor detects a higher temperature in the processor.
The fan unit can be removed and cleaned from the bottom side.Use good air pressure jet to clean.

Vanguard twin 303447 drops a cylinder when hot under load have to have choke on to keep it going, have cleaned carby and tank plus checked compression and spark

there is hose coming from your valve cover to pump. check it for cracks. one of your gaskets at the air filter housing to carb or carb to black block or block to intake maybe leaking. fuel shut off solenoid could be going bad. choke cable adjustment. there is crank case breather under air filter housing with a s shaped hose coming from it to air filter housing make sure it is not loose. i have an engine at work that did =the same thing. i work at a golf course. i am the mechanic. i changed the hose from valve cover to pump and it cured that problem

Motor runs erratically

Try cleaning the air filter and the fuel filter. Sawmills are dusty places and timber dust can clog-up air filters. Air filters in chainsaws are cleaned hourly for max efficiency.

AIR CONDITIONER MODEL #AF-S85FX--CODE E1 COMES ON-CLEANED FILTER, BUT UNIT WONT RESET AND KEEPS DEFAULTING BACK TO CODE E1

The Sharp e1 problem is a timer that is pretending to demand that you clean the filter. It stops the machine every 720 hours and forces you to do a procedure to get it to go away.

There are 2 possible procedures.

1) Unplug the machine. Hold down the power button while you plug the machine in and wait for a beep about 5 seconds long. Let go of the power button. Unplug the machine. Plug it back in.

2) Unplug the machine. Hold down the mode button while plugging the machine back in and waiting for a beep of about 3 seconds duration. Let go of the mode button. The machine will start. Turn the machine off by pressing the power button. Resume trying to use the machine normally.

If these don't work, the "demand to clean filter" timer is broken and you will need to buy parts to repair the machine.

(Don't you just love having a computer chip in every appliance?)
