What kind of password is it asking for. it is asking for the password to your operating system, which it does ask for that sometimes because i had that problem once, then all you have to do is look for the password on the outside of your laptop.

If it is not this then please give me more information on what it is asking and i will try to help as much as i can.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi. Can someone help me with the BIOS password on my dell latitude e5500? Service tag is: 7KBVQ4J

Hi Mar Mar,
As far as I know once the you forgot your BIOS password no more options to get it anymore. You may also wanted to talk to Dell Tech Support 1-877-542-3355 in order for them to check if they can still do something about it. Worse scenario would be replacing your MOBO.

The BIOS-password exists for _your_ protection; if a thief is in possession of your computer, the password prevents the thief from using the stolen computer.

As the owner of the computer, find the original sales-receipt, to prove ownership, and telephone Dell, to get assistance from Dell to bypass that password.
