You are probably in centering mode code "C" should get you out of that. 215 coce is not sensing the printwheel, remove theP/W, look for debris in that area, if you have some canned air blow the area out. If the problem persists you will need a printwheel sensor.

IBM Wheelwriter 30 Series II is showing an error code of 215 with a box with a slash through it and am unable to type on it

215 is a Print Wheel error. Remove the print wheel, look for debris in the P/W area, if you have a compressed air source blow the P/W area out. If these don't work the P/W sensor is probably bad.

When I try to punch in the number to192.168.0.1" it says servor cannot be found and I have internet use

It may be because your Default Gateway is set to a different IP number.

Press the Windows Key (the one with the Windows Flag on it near the [SPACE BAR] on your keyboard and while depressing it press the [R] key. Release them both.

A command window should open.

In the command window, type: IPCONFIG /ALL and press [ENTER]

Look for a line that reads: Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : ***.***.***.***

The number that ***.***.***.*** represents will be your Default Gateway and what you would type in instead of 192.168.0.1

Error 215 code. Looks like a small part that is attached to a spring under the daisy wheel is either broken or loose.

215 is a print wheel error. If you have the "FLAG" broken it will have to be replaced. You will probably need a tech.

My dog knocked over my Compaq keyboard. Now the divided spacebar is opposite what it should be. Instead of spacing on the right spacebar I have to hit the left side. How do I fix this?

Pull the space bar off by using your fingers. Underneath, you'll find a metal rod. Take note on which way it is facing, and how it fits. Make sure nothing in broken under the space bar, then put the space bar back on making sure it hooks in correctly.

Space bar doesn't work

IF YOU HEAR A SLIGHT CLICK WHEN DEPRESSING THE SPACE BAR, THE BAR AND SPRING ARE OK, THE TROUBLE IS EITHER A BROKEN OR DAMAGED KEYBOARD MEMBRANE. IT IS A SEALED UNIT AND SHOULD BE SENT TO A REPAIR CENTER TO BE RE-BUILT. OR TRY TO BUY A NON FUNCTIONING WW 3500 AND SWAP THE KEYBOARD UNIT
