Question about Ovens

1 Answer

I have a kenmore oven (model 9119359181) that we are trying to find a part 345445 to replace, do you know anyone that still has this part? Our oven is great working order but the temp has to be on 500 in order for the oven to work and other than that it's great...hate to purchase a new oven just for this.

What is button on the left next to plug outlet on kenmore c880???

As far as i can tell by your model there is no button there is only a meat probe receptacle. if yours doesn't have such a thing it is likely to be an after market part. part number for the meat probe is WB20X5050. hope this helps

Thanks

Replacing oven bottom liner for Kenmore oven

about to do the same for a friend - hers has two visible screws through the floor at the back of the oven. the new plate has several additional holes. i have not yet removed the old, but looking at other google entries, i may just need to take out the visible screws.
not sure of the model, but it is a free-standing kenmore gas range.

Electric Diagram for Kenmore Model 790

Has the oven run out of control or gotten too hot? The 790 series is made by Frigidaire and those fault codes are F0 to F8. F2 indicates the temperature sensor is reading too hot. Now with the double oven models, some manufactures add an extra digit to the fault codes to indicate which oven created the fault.

Your most likely fix is to replace the temperature sensor. The most probable locations for the wiring diagram is taped inside the bottom drawer, on the back or under side of the oven, or behind one of the panels on the back of the oven. This might tell you the room temperature resistance for the temperature sensor so you can test it with an ohmmeter and be sure that it is faulty. Try Appliance Parts Pros for replacement sensors.

Oven showing F2 fault

tire, if your model starts with 911. the code stands for an overtemperature condition. I would start with the temp sensor, this is the probe inside the oven cavity, part # 334300. You can ohm it out, should be around 1100 ohms at room temp. This is for model number starting with 911. Catriver..post back.
