If you are the original owner of the vehicle, there's probably a radio code inside your owner manual somewhere, probably on a decal. Some vehicles put a duplicate of this radio code inside the fuse panel cover.

Need to remove factory installed radio on a 1999 Volvo S70 to get serial number to reset code

reset code should be in your radio manual, if you have it, removing radio is a lot more work.

VOLVO S70 RADIO is lock on the OFF position

If the radio is original to the car then they dealer can look up your VIN in the computer and print you out a sheet with your warranty information and it has the code on it. The service writers can do it from the service drive.

If you just have the radio, then the parts department can look up the code.

Radio code ( 98 Volvo S70)

Look in the manual for the code - usually someone has written it in there. If not, call the nearest Volvo dealership and give them the VIN - they can tell you what your code is. Then, with the engine off, turn the key to the "I" position (Roman numeral one) and leave it for at least 4 hours. The radio should then read "Code. and you can enter the 4 digit number! Good Luck!
