Question about Thumper Mini Pro 2 Massager

1 Answer

After using my minipro2 for about 20 minutes it starts to sound like the motor is working too hard and sounds a little "rattly". I always turn it off then, and when I start it up later it works just fine, for another 20-30 minutes.

Sounds to me like the motor shouldn't be run for too long of a time due to tolerances getting wider and wider as the motor heats up.

Maybe it's a manufacturing problem. Does the rattling really annoy you too much?
If it does and you bought it recently, maybe return it for another one within 30 days.

To find a better solution than what you already have found.. to turn it off and let it cool down.

Just stopped working. No burning smell. When start button pushed, some kind of tiny "click" sound heard around the timer.

The click is most likely the timer motor moving the dial on the timer. The motor circuit on American dryers is 120 volts whilst the heater requires 240 volts to operate its 5k element. The motor circuit always has the fuse in it. The heating element has limits mounted on it but they only kill power to the element and not the motor. Fuses are usually located on the blower housing next to the control thermostat. MORE HERE

Speakers bose docking station make a noise

Have two Bose docking stations and the oldest (white) one have some problems now. When I put in one of my iPods in the docking, the speakers make some weird, creaky noises. Kind of a sound, when I'm looking for a channel on the radio. When I wiggle a little bit the connector from the docking station, it will play some music for a short time. Still it is not the same quality sound, it used to be. Also, some times the sound is too loud and when I touch ONE time the volume minus (-) button, you can hardly hear the music, it is too soft. Hope somebody can solve this problem.

Dishwasher starts then pauses and drains.

Fixed! I had the issue where the cycle would start, the KUDS30IXBL8 would hum 4-5 times and then drain. Plastic folk pieces jammed in the disposer. These instructions took a few minutes (only 5 screws and a couple clips) to figure out how to take it apart, and it only took 60 seconds to put back together. Neuton cordless hedge trimmer sounds "rattly" and the blade doesn't go back and forth. the battery is good. could it be the motor?

Sounds like a problem I had, and it was the primary gear on the motor was stripped. So far no luck at finding the gear, but to replace the trimmer without battery would probably be cheaper.

The only thing that I can think of that could produce a urine/ammonia smell is a shorted capacitor that is leaking. But normally when that happens the dryer motor will not start.

New flying v, 3 strings make rattly sound near end

Are the strings hitting the frets and making a buzzing sound or is it actually coming from the bridge? Make sure the saddles on the bridge are secure. If the buzzing is caused by the fret then adjust the bridge height and/or truss rod. If the buzzing is coming from the bridge and cannot be cured it may be worth investing in an aftermarket bridge.

Rattly noise

the blue smoke is an idicator of burning oil. this could be either bad valve seals or bad oil rings on the piston. with the loss of power and the ratteling noise nit would seem that you have a valve issue in the heads. now either the valves are not seating properly or or the lobes on the cam itself is worn and what you are hearing is the rocker arms slaping. Considering the age of the vehicle you have the option of either having the engine rebulit(that's if the blue smoke is from bad rings) or if you just have the top end done, there will be a substantial cost. or you can get rid of it. please rate this
