If all else is working fine except the sound it seems its got the wrong drivers installed or there is a fault with the onboard sound. All the latest drivers are on the Asus website but you have not said which operating system you are using so i cant give you a link to exactly what you need. You can get back to me if you need or have a look on the website yourself http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us if all else fails PCI sound cards are pretty cheap i just bought a 5.1 channel sound blaster card for $21 cheers from Scott and plz dont forget to vote
hi, please try to install the drivers forcefully. right click>exclamation mark>update driver>install manually>dont connect the internet>select from specific location>sound and game controller>have disk and then give the path where driver file is saved. thanks.
first off download (pcwizard) and install this program searches and finds the drivers needed for your computer go to the sound driver found note name and number write them down EG cmedia 2341 go to search engine type in (cmedia 2341 drivers) put your own needed driver where I have cmedia etc and search for them download uninstall any sound driver installed reboot when rebooted install your sound drivers. Sorry cannot be more specific as I do not know what your sound card is
first uninstall any audio drivers Use unidentified device drive program to identify your sound card write name and number down do a search on internet for them EG cmedia 35 drivers when located download for your operating system Vista or xp install please leave rating
Sometimes you may install other drivers that you system may recognise but not identify with. ensure that that the drivers are correct and that you soung ouput device is plugged iinto the correct socket. Also make sure that your sound device is enable in the device manager in your control panel and that you system volume is on and up. If these dont work then your sound device could be damage, best option then is to install a pci sound card and your problems will be solved. let me know how you go. thanks
