That means it is set to the wrong time zone... You need to go into the settings and adjust the time zone so that it does adjust with daylight savings.

Do you know how to do this on the watch, or is there no option? Is this the La Crosse Technology E. Howard Ambassador Radio Controlled Watch?

Thanks, let me know if you have any questions or concerns, just reply to my answer here and I will be right back with you.

unless you have a very expensive watch that has an inbuilt calculator the is programmed to change the time for daylight savings , the change is up to you
simply set the time as if you would do if replacing the battery

How to adjust your Skyhawk for Daylight Savings Time (DST) *aka How to get UTC to reflect the correct time when your local time is set*
According to Citizen's website FAQ, their watches cannot determine when daylight savings time goes into effect for all the different time zones so there is no automatic changeover from SMT to normal and back again. If you are on the winter side of the time change (fall back), you'll have to go to the set setting, one click out on the knob and cycle through all the timezones using the B button (the lower one) to change all the settings to OF (for winter) and in the spring change all of the appropriate timezones back to ON (for summer time). Disappointing, I know... for an otherwise great watch this would be my one complaint.

How to set time on polar rs300x

Access watch settings scrolling by UP/Down button.
<Settings> <Ok> <Watch> <Time and Date Settings>

In Time Settings:
Set the local time (Time 1) and a time difference to it (Time 2).
With Time zone, you can select which time zone is used.
In Time view, you can easily change the time zone from Time 1 to Time 2 by pressing and holding DOWN.

Set the date with Date setting.

Cannot change from 24 hour to 12 hour also did not change to daylight savings time

To change from 24 hour to 12 hour, you hold down the "Mode" button until it switches from 24 hour to 12 hour or vice versa. To change the time zone, you hold down the "Set" button until the time zone that you set it in flashes (like "LAX" on my watch). Then you press the "Receive/Start/Stop" button to choose the specified time zone you want. To set for daylight savings time ("DST" on the watch), after holding the "Set" button and having the time zone flash, you could press the "Mode" button. It will give you a few options for the daylight savings time (Auto, On, or Off). I chose the "On" option, which immediately changed for daylight savings time. If you manually want to change the time, you could hold down the "Set" button and keep pressing the "Mode" button until the time starts flashing on your watch, then pressing the "Receive/Start/Stop" button until you change it to the time that you want. You could also set the watch to beep or chime after pressing the set button if you wanted to know that piece. You hold down the "Set" button when you are done to get it to stop flashing. These instructions worked for my Timex T5G341 Universal Radio Control Watch. I hope this helps.

I purchased a Nat. Geo. Dakota watch in past fall..It was impossible to set. Paid a watch shop to set it....now it won't change to daylight savings time...nor will it change time zones when I travel....

When changing time zones, your watch must be manually set for the new time zone you will be entering. This watch is not designed to adjust for new time zones automatically. Instructions for changing time zones can be changed using the directions found on pages 2-4 in your instruction manual. When changing to and from DST, your watch should automatically adjust for this difference with the next 24 hours after the change. If your watch has not adjusted, you may be in an area that is not receiving signal. Check if your watch has received signal by using the directions found on page 1 of your instruction manual. If your watch has received signal in the past and no longer is receiving signal, your watch may need to be serviced or exchanged. Please contact Dakota Watch Company Customer Service by email at customerservice@dakotawatch.com, or by phone at 1-888-459-0404.

Use this page to download a copy of CASIO watch manuals in PDF format. To download a PDF file, enter the four-digit (or three-digit) module number marked on the back cover of your watch.

You will need a pdf reader on your pc, you will find all instructions in there.

You have to get in the right time zone, that’s why you are an hour off (and this may also occur if you are in an area that switches between daylight savings time each spring and fall).
Press mode until ZO appears on the watch face.
Press and hold ADJ. Time zone will begin to flash.
Select start/stop or adjust to get to the right time zone P, C, M, E (pacific, eastern, Mountain, central)
If desired , press mode to select DST (daylight savings time) and press start/stop or adjust to turn it on or off.
Press adjust when done.
