Please clarify what your question is here, it sounds more like you need a different printer or perhaps a software program that will print the products you need, that product would be the print shop, it can do almost any job you want, make greeting card from scratch, do custom envelopes and much more, own it and love it. I think the print shop deluxe is what you would need, the printer should print envelopes if the correct software is used, Here is a web link to the program that should fill your needs at Amazon.com.

Please give me time to answer before rating my help, in order to assist you I will need the exact model of Canon printer, there is no guarantee that any software that allow this printing of of the A5 is available until I check with Canon support, so please give me time to answer and the model number of the printer

Your printer has software for printing on standard #10 evelopes and that is it, it will not print Type A5, there is no way around this other than to purchase software that allows you to print on all evelope types, The "PRINT SHOP" software I suggested will allow you to do this, upgraded software is your only choice, Canon makes no other software for this model. If there was a way around this i would give it to you.

Hello sorry to hear the problems you are having, but I have gone to the Canon site again and looked up the abilities of your particular printer, it can only print a standard business envelope known commonly as a #10, so not sure you ever printed the Greeting card envelopes you speak of, perhaps that was another printer you owned? 'but I am doubly sure that your printer DOES NOT have the software to print the A5.

Doubler, Please use the word processor to do it. In Word go to file - page setup and select envelope and then the size of the envelope. And then on the printer look for a slot where an envelope is made. Insert the envelopes there and give the print command in Word.

Can't print envelopes made by "Greeting Card Factory" v7 on an HP B209a-m. Cards (.fgc file) print OK but envelopes (.fev files) won't print (envelope won't go into the print area; spoolvs.exe take 99% of...

The problem centered around the fact that the HP209 would only print 8.5X11 sheets from Greeting Card Factory. Any other size seized up the pring spool.

We're going to return the HP (We think it's defective) and get an Epson.

Smaller items will only feed crookedly into the printer document

Check to see if you are feeding the envelopes and 4x6 cards/photo paper correctly.

Both envelopes and 4x6 cards must be loaded and centered on the paper exit tray (not inside the paper input tray).

Printing envelopes:
  • Up to 15 envelopes can be loaded at a time.
  • The print side of the envelope faces down.
  • The envelopesare centered on the paper exit tray.
  • You print the envelopes with Landscape orientation.
Printing cards:
  • Up to 35 greeting cards, index cards, postcards, or photo cardscan be loaded at a time.
  • The print side of the cards faces down.
  • The cards are centered on the paper exit tray.
  • You select Automatic, Normal, or Photo print quality.

For images on how to correctly load the paper, download your printer user's guide:

Need to print a half-fold card envelope with HP Photosmart C4480

I'm printing wedding invitation envelopes (or A6) and had to set both my C4480 and psc1315 to a regular size 8.5x11 letter size but changed my margins to reflect the smaller size for my envelope with the left side of the screen being the more narrow margin. After adjusting the top margin accordingly, I fed the envelopes, flap side down and straight into the printer and voila...envelope addresses are printed. Good luck. Blu

How to print envelopes on my printer

Use The Recommended Print Area For the best printing results, adjust the top and bottom margins of your document to within the recommended printing area shown below. Click on the paper size listed for the recommended print area settings: A4 / B5 / A5 / 4 x 6 / 4 x 8 / 5 x 7 / Credit Card, Letter and Legal, Envelopes (DL / COM#10)
Caution: When printing is performed outside the recommended printing area, the top and bottom edges of the paper may curl, the print quality may deteriorate, or the printed side may be smudged.
The printer has both the recommended print area and the printable area, according to the paper size.

05sj00144_02.jpg Printable area: Although this indicates the printable area, degradation of print quality may occur.
Note:
  • Set Borderless Printing to print without margins.
  • In Duplex Printing, the printable area of the paper's header is approximately 2 mm narrower than usual.

Printing envelopes

If you look closely at the very front of the paper tray, just to the left of the sliding thing that keeps the paper from drifting out of the front, you will see a couple of illustrations showing how to position envelopes in the paper feeder. For regular letter-sized envelopes, or even greeting card envelopes, place them face down with the top of the envelope pointing to the left as you are facing the printer. The return address area should be away from you. Position the envelope all the way to the right side of the paper feeder, then gently slide the envelope all the way back until it is stops so that it is accessible by the paper feeder. Bear in mind that it will be flipped over when it comes out. To avoid wasting an envelope, do a trial print on a piece of paper to make sure you understand the positioning correctly. Good luck!

Printing greetings cards and envelopes

At the moment it is printing both sides of Greetings cards, but this printer appears to be very sensitive with regards to placng card in the exact position in the paper tray.

Why it will not print envelopes without smudging I still don't know, so I shall just have to write address by hand after I place graphic on the envelope

This 5300 was a Christmas gift from my wife and if I could afford to change it I would. The performance is very dissapointing

Kindest Regards
