I don't remember opening a Paypal account, although I want one. I cannot login or get any other information. Anytime I try to connect with you I get a "change password" screen -- in my current situation I cannot even terminate my account with Paypal. I do want an account with Paypal, and apparently already have one, but I don't remember any information about my account: Daniel J. On the PayPal login page, click the "Recover it" following "Forgot your password?"

1. GO TO PAYPAL.COM
2. IF YOU FORGOT THE USERNAME PLEASE CLICK QUESTIONMARK SYMBOL IN USERNAME FIELD AND CLICK GET STARTED
   
3. PLEASE CHECK THE BOX "I don't know what email address I used"
4. ENTER THE CODE IN BOX AND GET YOUR EMAIL ADRESS
5. Go to PayPal and click the Problem with login?
6. Select one of the password recovery options, enter the requested information, and then click the Continue button.
7. PayPal will send an email to the email address you provided (as long as it's an address that is registered with your PayPal account.) Check your email, and click on the link in the PayPal email you receive.
   Note: If nothing happens when you click the link, copy the link and paste it into the address field in your Internet browser window.
8. Select one of the verification options from the Verify drop-down menu.
9. Enter the requested information, and then click the Continue button.
10. Enter your new password and new security questions and answers. Remember to choose a password that's easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
11. Click the Submit button.

Click the Trouble with Login just below the LOGIN button. There is a link for forgotten passwords right there, and it will send help (either new password instructions or actually send the password to your email account). Should be easy from there.

Paypal have several measures for user who forget their details as follows:

If you are the legitimate user, one of the above options from the Paypal login page should help,

5. enter information to confirm that you own the account, and click continue.
6. enter your new password twice, and click submit.

If you can not login into your account, then send a support email by clicking the "support" button at the bottom of login page.

If you can login into your account, go to "resolution center" and provide the information needed for you to remove the limitations. Commonly, they will require you to provide information regarding your credit card information.

It sounds like you may have more than one PAYPAL account. You may have opened another PAYPAL account with a different email adderess, or possibly someone else has set up an accoun t with your credit card details. Try logging in to PAYPAL with any other email addresses you have.

I no longer have access to the email address registered to my PayPal account

Even if you no longer have access to the email address, you must still enter this address to log in to your PayPal account as this is how the PayPal system recognises you. After you log in, you can change the email address then use the new one when you next log in to your account.
If you definitely only have one PAYPAL account, I suggest you go the the PAYPAL Help section and report the problem.

You will also need to give your credit card or debit card No. while creating PayPal account.
