How to scan using a hp deskjet F2235 printer???please help me...

In order to use the scanning feature you would need to install the drivers and other software that comes with the printer. If you haven't install either, please visit http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3571755
and download the drivers for your operating system. It should come with some sort of imaging suite that would allow you to scan documents and save them to the computer.

My F4180 HP Scanner/Printer is painfully slow to scan. What could be the problem. Didn't use to be like this.

Has the scanning resolution been changed? That is the most common reason why the scan would take a long time to complete. If you're just scanning for the web, set the resolution to 72dpi and see if that speeds it up.

Hope this helps.

I CAN'T FIND MY SCANNER IN HP DESKJET F4180

Use the disc that came with the printer and uninstall the Imaging Device and then reinstall it again. It should work.
When you click on uninstall you will be given two options: To uninstall everything or choose software to uinstall.
Choose the second one, that way you won't have to uninstall everything.
If you've have finished doing so. Try scanning again, there;s a big chance it would work now.

I am having trouble getting my Hpf4180 to scan. Please help.

Follow this link to the HP User Manual for the F4180. Turn to Chapter 9, page 55 and follow instructions for scanning. It should help!

My HP deskjet won't scan to my computer, the power button just blinks when I hit 'scan' The make and model is HP Deskjet F4180

The HP Photosmart Software must also be installed and running on the computer before scanning.

Check that the USB cable is firmly plugged in to the printer and computer. Unplug the power cord both from the wall socket, and the printer. Wait 60 seconds. Re-attach the power cord securely. Power on. Try the scan again.

Under normal circumstances, a blinking power button just means that the machine is busy with a task. Be sure to let it finish its current task before initiating another.

The printer is on and working. However it is not scanning the color picture

Sometimes this happens when you have pressed the scan button on the printer, to no avail, and then try it on your computer..... Try disconnecting the printer from your computer, and powering down the printer, then reconnect printer, and restart it, and try scanning FROM THE COMPUTER.

HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one - when I preview a scan in "scanners and cameras" it previews fine but when I press the button to scan, the on/off light just blinks rapidly at me and nothing happens.

If you have installed your printer correctly, is your Page aligned, if not try page alignment by loading A4 paper into the tray and adjust the tray to fit with your paper, then restart your printer.

Note that you do not need the photo smart essential to perform your scanning, all you need is to press the scan button and the scanning page automatically open on your PC

Scanning

hmmm...did you try this from the HP print manager on your computer?

that will help with deciding if it's a scanner issue, or maybe more like firmware.

www.hp.com
has that print manager.
