Question about Cameras
First off all I would need to know the make and model of the VCR and the DVD recorder you are using. Most likely the best way to do this is to output from your VCR to the inputs on the DVD recorder and that should be about all there is to it as far as connections go.

Ok, doing this is quite easy really, for the simplest way here is what you need to do.
On the REAR of VCR, you will have a Yellow OUTPUT (Video) and a Red & White OUTPUT (Audio) Now, the OUTPUT from here goes Color to Color onto the DVD recorder's INPUT, again you will have Yellow, (Video) Red & White (Audio) simply hook up color to color.
These connection cables are called RCA Male Cables. and usually come as a "Set" with Color coded leads with Male Plugs on them.
After you are connected, basically you cue up your VCR Tape and DVR, press "Play" on VCR , and then, "Record" on the DVR, and that's basically all you need to do, when you have finished, you will need to "Finalise" your DVD so it can be used on "Other" players etc.
This will all be in your user manual for/or with your DVR. If you do not have a manual, you need to go to the manufacturers website and download a copy for reference.
