Thanks for the Posting markallen407 ,

It sounds like you have a Bad Head Phone Jack That needs to be replaced. Was it ever dropped directly onto the EarPhone Jack Port where the plug goes into? If so you need a HeadPhone Jack Replacement.

We can have this repaired for you, and also offer you a Warranty, Free Return Shipping, and also a Tracking #.

If you would like for our services please contact us at sales@ipodrepairz.com to set-up repairs.

Hey markallen407,

If you've tried several different pairs of headphones and have encountered the same problem with every pair, you could possibly be looking at a defective headphone jack. In some cases when headphones are unable to make a secure connection within the jack, they may only receive an audio signal through one of the two speakers.

Unfortunately, this means that you may want to seek repairs on your iPod at this time. If you are still covered under the manufacturer's warranty, I would strongly suggest contacting Apple first for more information or further assistance. Many manufacturers may be able to provide faster solutions than third-party service facilities for problems with their products, but remember that it may be necessary to ship your iPod out for repairs.

Additionally, please keep in mind that you may always bring your iPod to your local Best Buy™ store for service. Geek Squad® agents are able to provide support for most products we sell, and can even honor existing factory warranties for products that were purchased through other retailers.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

Hi, I bought a pair of sony bubble ear buds less than a month ago and was really enjoying them, but the left earbud has gone completely silent. I take good care of them and don't ever play my music...

its probably not the earbuds just that it seems all sony mp3 players have a problem in which the left side contact in the jack (the hole that the earbuds plug into) goes bad had this happen on the third player so far .

My mix max volume is all the way to its max but it still sounds very low

I had the same problem with standard over the head earphones, however, when I used it with earbuds, the volume increased tremendously and we now have no problems with the volume sounding too low. My daughter has a hard time with regular earbuds, so I purchased some "clip" style earbuds.

Ipod Nano 4GB does not deliver sound

Try slowly and carefully twisting the head phone plug in the jack while music is playing. If it starts coming in in a choppy manner, then you may need to a) resawder the jack down or b) get a new ipod. I'd recommend b.

No sound out of one of the earbuds

YOU HAVE A STEREO JACK, LOOKING AT THE EAR JACK THERE ARE 2 COLORED CIRCLES AROUND THE STEEL EAR JACK WHICH DESIGNATE STEREO, ONE COLORED CIRCLE IS MONO-ONE SIDE, IF YOU HAVE TRIED SEVERAL DIFFERENT SETS THEN YOUR EAR JACK IS NOT MAKING A GOOD CONNECTION TO YOUR STEREO EAR JACK AND ONLY GIVING YOU SOUND TO ONE SIDE(MONO), AND MIGHT NEED REPAIRED

When I put my earbuds into my ipod touch only one side works

i have the same problem. its not the headphones. its the itouch. its something to do with the jack-i think. because whenever i jiggle the plug eventually i can hear some of my music eventually. its a pain. and so how do i fix that ish?

Head phone jack

Flip the Sansa face down with the headphone jack to the left. Take the cover off the battery then remove the 2 screws by the sync port. This frees up the plastic that covers the last screw. But before you can remove this piece you need to lift the 2 black tabs in the middle and slide your nail between the seam between the black and silver areas near the hold button. The rest comes apart easy or the couple I have fixed the headphone jack have.
