Frame no. full

In the English Manual on page 150 it says Frame no. full:
The frame number has reached 999-9999. Remedy:
1 insert a formatted Memory Card into the camera. 2 Set RENEW as the FRAME NO. setting in the (SET) SET-UP menu (> p.117).
3 Start taking pictures (The frame number starts from "100-0001").

4 Set CONTINUOUS as the FRAME NO. setting in the (SET) SET-UP menu. Good luck

What does it mean when the camra says frame full

Hi, in most cameras by defult the camera names the pictures it takes in numeric sequence and after a while the range of names reaches an end and the camera would give similar message... if you go to the setup menu look for something like frame number or picture count and see if it is set to continious, see if you can switch it to reset or renew and see what happens... hope that helps :)

Frame full

I had the same problem with a fujifilm camera, the good news is that it's easy to fix. On the shooting menu (press menu when the camera is in shooting mode) there will usually be a set-up option, within that you should see "Frame No." or something similar- the two options for this are either "continuous" or "renew". If you are experiencing the Frame no. full error it means that you are currently set to continuous; TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM SWITCH THIS SETTING TO RENEW.

Hope this helps!

Fuji finepix a900 Frame number full error

Hi!

In case you haven't sorted this out yet.

To fix this go into Menu ---> Setup. From there there's a Frame Number setting. It is normally set to: Continuous. The other option is: Renew which evidently simply resets the picture count. After selecting Renew the error message disappears and the camera works perfectly again.

Great little camera!

Fuji frame no full

I had the same problem. Here's what I think is going on: the camera has a finite set of numbers that it can assign to pictures. If it is set to "continuous," then every picture that you take gets assigned a new number (even after you delete them off the card). To fix this, you need to set it to "renew" the picture numbers. Here's how to do this: Menu --> Setup --> Frame No. --> Renew.

Hope that helps!

"Frame NO. Full"

Try going in to the "setup" menu and change the frame numbering from "continuous" to "renew", if it is not already done. Sounds like you are on the continuous setting which keeps adding numbers, even though you've erased many. Going to renew starts the numbering over so it keeps reusing previous numbers.

Fuji finepix s7000

Per the owner's manual:

  1. Insert a formatted media into the camera.
  2. Set "RENEW" as the FRAME NO. setting in the SET-UP menu.
  3. Start taking pictures. (the frame numbers start from "100-0001".)
  4. Set "CONT." as the FRAME NO. setting in the SET-UP menu.
Then you're done. We just did this on ours and now we're ready to go. God Bless.

You mentioned that the camera has had a lot of abuse. I assume that means you did not take a lot of care with the camera.

Remember that a digital camera is very delicate. It will not stand under abuse very long.

Treat your digital camera like you are dealing with eggs, and it will last. Of course things do happen, it is mechanical, and things do burn out, and wear.

If you would use the wrist strap to hold the camera, the chance of dropping a camera is lessened. Putting it in a padded case will indeed help to preserve the delicate parts.

If you want to toss the camera in a box, and treat it with very little care, then maybe you should use a cheap camera.

After one frame battery icon flashes ( battery is full charged)

The problem is with the electric contacts between the battery and the camera. You can try cleaning them with a clean pencil eraser. Make sure you don't leave any eraser debris in the battery compartment. It is best to do this while holding the camera so that the battery compartment door is "down" so that any eraser debris will fall out of the door onto the table rather than fall into the compartment.
