I have a lincoln power mig 255 and every time i weld little holes appear in the welds. what could this be?

This could be a problem of gthe gas you are using. Make sure to use mix 75/25 argon/CO2 for mild steel welding, argon 100% for aluminum and trimix helium/argon/CO2 for stainless steel.
Also check your heat (voltage) 16-22 is enough for weld of most steels less than 1/2 inch.

My magnum 100l is flowing gas even when the power is off. How do I get it apart to look inside?

Your gun is not the problem, your problem is the solenoid valve on your machine (welder) that solenoid valve must got dirt or debri from the hose and the closing needle it's stuck . Just replace it, it will be cheaper than replacing your gun.
Have a great day.

216 mig no feed no fire maybe selonoid problem please help seloniod does not click

It could be just the simple problem of the trigger not working. Disconnect the trigger wires from the machine at the plug at the front of the machine. See if you can manually trigger the machine by placing a piece of bent over mig wire onto the contacts. If the machine does trigger from this then your fault is in the torch somewhere. It could be the trigger (which commonly does fault from a dusty environment) which is easily replaced by going into any welding store with the torch model number (magnum 250L), or it could possibly be that a trigger wire has broken from the torch being damaged

I have a ProMig 175. Suddenly the wire feed motor does not work. The solenoid clicks. I have manually turned the wheel trying to reposition the contacts in the motor. No help.

Verify the polarity is correct for Flux or Mig configuration (should be on label under lid) - and ensure there are no loose connections on that polarity wire.

Loosen the tensioner + make sure the wire feed motor turns freely by hand.
My WeldPak 100 and SP-135T were tough to turn, but it did turn freely.

If it does spin freely, then inspect the contacts for the voltage selector. Make sure to unplug the power cord and keep clear of the big capacitor. My SP-135T contacts corroded while in storage.

1) Disconnect gun's power plug connection and with the use of a clip bridge the connector on the machine; if the drive motor moves, then you have a faulty gun switch, Replace it. if not go to step 2.

2) Connect back the plug to the machine. Take the welding wire off the drive wheels and leave the tensor loose, press the switch if it moves; then you have a kinked gun liner, replace. If not then you have a damage PC1 machines needs to be send to a maintenance shop.

3) Last check the breaker on the back of the machine and press it. This is your last recourse. If still nothing happened then probably an overload caused the damaged to the PC1.

That's all.

Wire will not feed ,I was welding with my weldpak 100 and it just stopped feeding the wire so I shut it down to look at the next day when I tried it the next day the wire fed like it was suppose to until...

Your weldpack 100 has a duty cycle of only 20 t0 30%, meaning that your machine will weld for 2 to 3 minutes and then you need to let it cool down for the 8-7 minutes, then start again.
If the problem continues let me know.
