Your t con board is responsible for the image on your screen. Your colors are all there but they are f---ed up in certain scenarios.

That is the only board on your set that be causing this anomaly.

There is too much blue on the screen & not enough green coloring

Have a very close look at the blue and see if it's perfectly uniform across the whole screen.
If it is then altering the hue or colour temperature settings in the menu may help.
If it's not then either there are heaps of pixel failures (appearing as small rectangular spots) or degradation of the polarisers (green may be affected more than the others).
If you show the menu, do the white areas appear bluish.
If the lamp is very old then colour changes start to happen.

The screen on my tv has too much red and green, how can i fix this?

Your blue tube coolant has gone bad and is opaque now so no blue. this is common in philips old big screens. Can be cleaned and refilled with coolant. repair costs vary area to area. I would do it in 240 to 280 depending on the pickup and drop distance and model number. They generally need this between 5 to 8 years. Its not a DIY project and needs professional help. Check it out at www.fixurtvs.com for more FAQs and costs of repairs. Thanks if you voted.

Yellow area in the projected image

Hello Media Man,

Looks like your projector has done it. Thats acommon trouble to ageing polirising lens, usually the blue. less blue, the green and red make up the yellowish image on the screen. The blue is bombarded with tremendous heat from the lamp and it fade and wash out. If its free, its worth replacing. Get quote for the poliriser; 2 pieces each color.
Good Luck.
