Question about Computers & Internet
You should not need a CD to setup your router, as it is not actually 'connected' directly to the computer (apart from by a network cable, if you are using a 'wired' connection).
Usually if you plug your router in, and the power this on, attach your computer to the router with a network cable and wait a few moments you should see that your computer will get an IP address from the router. It is best to use a wired connection to setup a router with, as if the router is un-configured, you may not know what the wireless settings are (such as encryption method, encryption key, etc). Wired connection generally do not have such complications and just generally work without a problem.
To check to see if the connection has worked ok, do the following:
Once you have established that your computer has been given an IP address by the router, you can find the routers address as being the one that is the default gateway. Type in the address of the default gateway in to a web browser, and usually it will take you to the configuration page of the router, where you can customize the routers behaviour or setup a wireless connection (if the router has wireless built in).
Hope that this is of help to you!
