What operating system are you using? There has been so many problems with Vista and Windows 7! Only on xp it works, if you are using xp, just goto the samsung website and you will see the drivers on there.

In case you dont have a disk you can install windows using a USB flash drive by following these steps: Step 1- Download ISO image of Windows from: windows.microsoft.com/ website Step 2: Download YUMI from: www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/ website? Step 3- Plug in your USB in pc. Step 4: Run YUMI and follow the on-screen instructions by selecting the appropriate operating system. Step 5: Give path of the ISO Image and select the USB drive to make boot-able disc Step 6- Plug in the USB onto the system on which you need to install the windows. Step 7- Turn on the system.(Change the boot preferences to USB if the system do not automatically start booting from USB). goto administrative tool within control panel(switch to claasic view) ,double click computer rmanagement, click on logical drive with the list identify you usb device and check that it is assigned a drive letter if not assign a letter by double clicking it
Some usb camera's comes with a install disk just put into cd drive and follow the instructions
Some dont come with a disk so normally when you plug into the usb drive windows will load it for you
If it says cannot find the driver then you may have to type into google or your search engine the make of the camera and go to the site to download the driver for it
Usually.. You connect the drive to the external enclosure, and plug it into a spare USB socket.
If the drive is new and unformatted, go into Disk manager and format it.

re-formatting the drive erased the loader from the drive..
NTLDR is the boot loader that comes with all versions of windows.
You will now have to reinstall everything, including the raid driver if this is on a SATA drive..
Have you enabled USB keyboard support in the bios..?
You may have to use a PS2 type keyboard to do this..
try re-installing the operating system from the original disk, if you dont have the disk, there may be a recovery partition hidden on the drive.
If all else fails, either go to the compaq website and request a recovery disk be mailed out to you ( but dont hold out much hope as compaq dont like doing this), try and find the setup file on the hidden partition if it has one.. or, purchase your own copy of Windows and re-install it yourself. you may need to visit the compaq website to get all the drivers for the mainboard if they dont install with windows.

you cannot usually switch installed operating systems from computer to computer like that and still expect windows to boot, but with windows 98 it *might* work.
to install windows 98 on the usb drive, insert and boot from the windows 98 disk like you were to install it on that computer , and then, it should, before it formats any drives, give you a choice of what drive to format.
Make sure you have installed the software drivers first before connecting the USB hard drive. USB is Plug and Play, and when you connect hardware that requires drivers to be installed first, it will not function correctly or not work at all sometimes..
