Hi! I have a whirl pool thin twin washer/dryer combo model # ltg6234aw1. The washer will stop before it rinses. Ive tried stoping it and starting it again and nothing. Ive tried putting knob all the way...

your water filter outlet is blocked up
or the pump has something inside it stopping it rotating

so you have a blockage

inside the wirlpool on top of the dryer unit youll see two disks
bolted on that have 4 wires

you need first too check all screens and clean any lint from the whole heater assembly

anywhay at the center of the two disks {over heat sensors} is two small red plastic cyclinders

just press both back in and then the heating is reset
some machines will need these replaced instead
anyway you need to also check the motor brushes and
replace them if needed and clean the motor with a dry brush to remove any carbon dust
now once your sure the drain and heater paths are aok and free from any blockages

your good to go

you can reset the machines controller by turning on the mains at the plug / socket while you hold in the start stop {or sometimes power } look up this detail in google

hope this helps

Have a Whirlpool GEQ9800LW0 and it won't start. When I set the timer and push the start button nothing happens. The timer still makes it's usual clicking sound but the dryer won't start. What needs...

Check power to the inlet valve, if absent let the program move forward and if the motor does not work either it is possible that thetimer though ticking is not contacting.
So go back to check for the wash cycle, when start is pushed, inlet valve on, water comes in, water fills , triggers level sensors, washing starts with motor on.
If there is no voltage on any parts ,the timer contactor is faulty

Maytag dryer makes an electrical buzzing noise when start button

It sounds to me like the motor is not turning, but the heating element is coming on. with no air flowing over the element, it is getting too hot. Can you operate the start switch with the top tilted up so you can see if the motor is turning but the drum is not, and just where the buzzing is coming from. Also, I would try the dryer on manual setting and on air dry to see if any setting works. Good luck

Whirl pool dryer LEC9000PW0 will not turn on

Has a household fuse blown or has a circuit breaker tripped?
There may be 2 household fuses or circuit breakers for the dryer. Make sure both fuses are intact and tight, or that both circuit breakers have not tripped. Replace the fuse(s) or reset the circuit breaker(s). If the problem continues, call an electrician.
Is the correct power supply available? (Electric dryers only)
Electric dryers require 240-volt power supply. Check with a qualified electrician.
Is the dryer door firmly closed?
Your dryer door may not be fully closed. It may look shut, but may not be latched. Push on the door to engage the latch or latches. Some models have an upper and lower latch. Both latches must be secure for the dryer to run.
Was the Start, Push to Start or Hold to Start button firmly pressed?
Large loads may require the Start, Push to Start, or Hold to Start button to be pressed and held for two to five seconds.
Is the Cycle Control knob set on a Sensor Dry or Timed Dry cycle? (on some models)
The Cycle Control knob must be set in a Automatic Dry or AccudryTM or Timed Dry cycle. The dryer will not start if set on the Wrinkle ShieldTM option.
Is Controls Locked status light on? (on some models)
Press and hold the Cycle Signal button for three seconds. This will turn off the Controls Locked feature.
Did you recently install a power supply cord on the dryer? (Electric dryers only)
The power supply cord may be incorrectly installed. If the power cord is incorrectly installed, the dryer may not start or heat. Review the Installation Instructions to check that the power supply cord is properly installed.

Depending on the make of dryer, there are several possibile reasons for this.
First and foremost, could be a faulty motor- faulty start capacitor, Faulty start relay.
Without more information I cannot be more specific.
