Question about Bosch 24 in. SHU66C02 / SHU66C06 Built-in Dishwasher

Bosch Logixx dishwasher alarm

When the dishwasher has finished, usually after all are in bed, it wakes up the house with a beeping alarm, repeated persistently at intervals until someone gets up and switches the machine off.  Surely there must  be a way to disable this alarm, but I can't seem to find out how.  Please help cure my insomnia!!

Me too. Very annoying. We have to close three doors so that the sound doesn't creep upstairs to the bedrooms.

I have found the operating manual online (see link to below off Bosch site) which explains how to do this - looks a bit fiddly by twisting dial and press/hold different buttons. Too complex to repeat in detail here so check out the website:

http://www.boschappliances.com.au/content.asp?document_id=430&category_id=86
from the above page (which I know is not the same model)
- follow the User Manual link
- enter the correct model number (mine is WAS32466)
- select the operating manual instructions (installation manual may also be given)
- see section on Individual Settings / Signal.

Sorted.

My Bosch dishwasher is driving me crazy! When it finishes a wash cycle it beeps twice every 10 minutes until the door is opened. We can't run the dishwasher at night after dinner unless we're SURE we...

Hello there,

It would help to know the model number of the dishwasher, but on many Bosch dishwashers, you can switch the cycle cycle completion signal off as follows:

1. While holding the right-hand CANCEL/DRAIN button, also press and hold the ON/OFF button
2. When the LED above the CANCEL/DRAIN button illuminates and the beeping starts, release both buttons
3. Press the right CANCEL/DRAIN button repeatedly until the beeping tone is at the desired volume, i.e. silent!
4. Press the "ON/OFF" button again to set the volume.

On models with the wash cycle buttons on the top edge of the door, the CANCEL/DRAIN buttons aren't always explicitly labelled CANCEL/DRAIN. These buttons are also labelled RESET on some models.

On models with 3 and 4 wash cycle buttons, the right CANCEL/DRAIN button is the third button when reading from left to right. On models with 5 wash cycle buttons, the right CANCEL/DRAIN button is the fourth button when reading from left to right.

Please try the above then let me know if you need further assistance. Please state the model number or series (i.e. Integra) of your washer if/when replying.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
BElectric

Bosch LogiXX - wont go beyond the prerinse stage to wash; keeps recalculating the time to finish.

Mine does the same, but i have a workaround: Use the standard program called "normal extra" from the submenu - does that work for you ?

How do I turn off the "finished" signal? It beeps

Hi,

To turn the cycle completion signal do the following:

1. Press and hold the right "Cancel Drain" button then press and hold the On/Off button
2. When the light on the "Cancel Drain button you are pressing illuminates and the tone begins to sound release both buttons
3. Press the right-most "Cancel Drain button until the tone is either at the desired volume or silent
4. Press the On/Off button again to confirm/set desired volume

Hope this helps.

My Bosch logixx dishwasher is sticking on 1 minute at end of cycle; the dishes will be clean but still wet rather than dry.

100% add the jet dry until it is completetly filled then close the dispenser door and lower then raise the door.repeat this at least three times then check and fill if you can still add more. then after doing that b4 you start the machine run the hot water to get the right temp. when the water is hot enough then start the machine.
