Hello,
You have to attach the camera to the computer and transfer the vedio file to the computer and then you can make DVD or CD of the vedio.

Video no longer transferable to PC

One of the most important things for transfering files from a camera to a computer is the software installed on the computer. Perhaps you did forget you installed this when your camera was new. The software came with the camera.
Try reinstalling the software that came with you camera, or us an external memory card reader. You don't need extra software to transfer the file from the card to your computer, but you still need software to play the video. You also could try to install a free video player like gom player. There are more free players. There are so many different video formats, so chose one that can play lots of different video formats, if you don't have the Sony CD or DVD.

While I can shoot video with my DMC-ZR3, and watch them on the camera, I seem to be incapable of transferring the video to my computer - a run of the mill Dell laptop running on Windows 7. It's as if...

If you are shooting in avchd lite, you must use photofunstudio to work with them. Another way to download videos....create a folder on your desktop....use a cardreader to download to the folder....import them to photofunstudio. Or....just shoot videos in Motion JPEG instead. typrice_205.jpg

The C182 records audio but does not play it back. To hear your videos, first transfer them to your computer and play them back there.

I have no sound on my Caplio R6 camera when I shoot videos.

Please check whether the Camera has Speaker to output the sound. Try transferring the videos from the Camera to the Computer and check if the sound is output. If there is no sound after transferring to the Computer, then check whether the sound is turned ON while recording. Try resetting the Camera to the factory settings. If the issue still persists, try power resetting the camera. To power reset the Camera, turn OFF the Camera remove the battery of the Camera and press the Power button for 30seconds and reinsert the battery after 1 minute and check the operation.

Cannot shoot videos direct-to-pc using Fe-190

the camera can not do that kind of functionality - it does not have the capability to be set up in any type of control mode. There are some Olympus cameras that allow for this unfortunately this model is not one of them.

Transfering Videos

are using the kodak software to transfer? your default maybe microsoft and doesn't recognise the video. go to windows explorer - my computer. in there (with the camera hooked up and powered up. cancel download. in my computer you should see the camera on the left as a drive/storage device ect. double click and you will see your photos and videos. select all (control/a) and copy to your hard drive in your favorite spot. Don't forget to back up photos to cd/dvd as hard copys! just incase :)
you mayneed to reinstall the kodak software to do it in auto.
