How to convert DVD/Video to Dell Aero, new iPod, Sony Walkman MP4,AVI and...

With the development of technology, several of media portable players emerged and have enriched our daily life greatly. We enjoy our favorite movies and music with all kinds of portable players such as iPod, iPhone, Zune, PSP, mobile phone and so on. It is really wonderful that we can enjoy our movies and music with smart portable players anytime and anywhere. In this article, I will introduce some latest devices which are all good media player. You may have a look and select your favorite player.

Dell Aero - The Dell Aero is set to become AT&T's second Android-based smartphone following on the heels of the Motorola Backflip.
Dell has re-rendered Aero's Android home screen to be conspicuously iPhone-like. You get a customizable row of four frequently used apps, located at the top of its 3.5-inch, 640 x 360 pixel touchscreen. Your other apps are 4 x 4 gridded across swipeable home screens like the iPhone, instead of Android's usual ever-lengthening pull-up app tray. I was unable to determine, and Dell reps were unable to say, if you could create more than the four app screens on the test device.
Otherwise, the aero acts like a regular Android phone except in one iPhone-like way - the Aero is bereft of the usual front Home, Menu and Back buttons. Instead, on the left perimeter, you get a dual-action button. One press brings you back a page, press-and-hold gets you back home. I'm not quite sure how you access Android app sub-menus.
Amazingly, the Aero is endowed with Quick Office Document Viewer and Editor, which as far as I can tell from the supporting documents, is not included on the supposedly-a-tablet Streak.

iPod Touch - No surprise here: the iPod touch retains its five-star rating and Editor's Choice award for its excellent fourth generation model, which finally includes two cameras, one for still shots and video, and the other for FaceTime video chat, which works seamlessly. And the addition of Game Center for social gaming, and Ping for social networking only promise to make your iPod experience more fun. Every year now, with the touch, Apple seems to outdo itself and leave the competition scrambling. In fact, at this point, the iPod touch doesn't really have much legitimate competition-it seems former competitors like Samsung are now focusing on tablets, like the upcoming Galaxy Tab, in an attempt to grab some of the iPad's considerable market share.

Sony Walkman S750 -Sony has now announced the next addition to the brand, the S750 video MP3 player. The player is shipped with EX vertical in-ear headphones and features digital noise canceling which is claimed to cut out about 98 per cent of background sound, allowing users to turn down the volume without losing audio clarity. Also included is a special adapter for air travelers who want to make the most of the Walkman's noise canceling capabilities while enjoying the in-flight entertainment
The S750 benefits from five Clear Audio technologies including Clear Bass and Clear Stereo, and a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine which restores the high frequencies lost in compressed music files such as MP3. Its 2-inch (51mm) LCD display features TruBlack technology to give screen contrast a bit of a boost, and the supplied software allows drag and drop file transfer. There's also an FM radio. It even allows the playback pitch to be adjusted to cater for those who have trouble reaching the high notes. The player also offers the chance to turn a private sing-along into a public performance via the AV-out port, which also provides for standard definition 720 x 480 video content on a connected TV.
All of these multimedia features, along with a battery claimed to give 50 hours of audio or 10 hours of video playback, has been squeezed into a form factor just 0.283-inch (7.2mm) thin. The Walkman S750 will be available in either 8GB or 16GB from October, although Sony's Japanese site also shows a 32GB version. There will also be a splash-proof dock available at the same time.

All of them are also good multimedia player. It is really wonderful that we can enjoy our movies and music with smart portable players anytime and anywhere. But you may also get confused with the problem: how to get movies and music into your favorite portable players?
Now I will introduce you an all in one solution. Only one program will help you solve all your questions. That is Nidesoft Video Converter which could convert video and audio files between all popular formats such as convert AVI to MP4, MP3 to WAV, WMV to MPEG, MOV to AAC, etc.
For example, you have downloaded a file from YouTube is in "flv" format and you may follow the way below to convert the flv files or other video files in your mobile player.
Step 1: Run Nidesoft Video Converter.
Click "add Files" button and import the videos from your computer. It supports batch conversion so you can import multiple files at one time.

Step2: Select the out file format
Click the "format" drop-down list to select the output format. If you don't know what formats your device supports, you can just select the format according to the device name.
Note: You could click the white box besides "Merge into one file" to merge your selected titles into one video before starting the conversion.
Step3: Click the "Convert" button and start the conversion. Please wait a few minutes before the conversion succeeds!
Ok, now you have got music from videos and next what you need to do is enjoying it. At the same time, if you want to play DVD with smartphones, you may use Nidesoft DVD Ripper which helps you convert DVD to all popular video or audio formats easily to convert DVD files into your favorite smartphone compatible formats. These two software are good assistant for your media player. You may try them!

Under the severe competition in this area, the media player develops quickly and the player device is more and more advanced. And the concept of totipotency has been accepted by persons. Whatever player you opt to use, I also think it is good. Believe yourself!

Review new iPod and iPhone: how to enjoy DVD/Video with all apple devices

San Francisco- Apple Inc is hosting a music-themed event Wednesday that is likely to yield updated iPods and iOS 4.1, though the company will not confirm any details.
The main focus of the event was iPods, ostensibly -- Apple claimed to have sold 275 million of them to date. And at the event, Apple chief Steve Jobs unveiled a slimmer new version of the Touch including "Retina display," the 24-bit high-quality screen that Apple introduced with the newest version of its iPhone.
Jobs called the Touch "the number-one portable game player in the world," noting that over a billion games and entertainment titles have been sold for it. Though the new Touch shares other hardware similarities to the latest iPhone (such as front and back cameras), it doesn't have cellular connectivity, and therefore won't share the radio issues that haunt the new iPhone.

iPod Touch: Still Top Dog
No surprise here: the iPod touch retains its five-star rating and Editor's Choice award for its excellent fourth generation model, which finally includes two cameras, one for still shots and video, and the other for FaceTime video chat, which works seamlessly. And the addition of Game Center for social gaming, and Ping for social networking only promise to make your iPod experience more fun. Every year now, with the touch, Apple seems to outdo itself and leave the competition scrambling. In fact, at this point, the iPod touch doesn't really have much legitimate competition—it seems former competitors like Samsung are now focusing on tablets, like the upcoming Galaxy Tab, in an attempt to grab some of the iPad's considerable market share.
iOS 4.1: Taking HDR photos
Other thing we have more attention is the updated iOS 4.1. When iOS 4.1 ships this week, iPhone and iPod touch users will have a new feature that allows for better photos in bright lighting: High Dynamic Range. Apple Insider offers a first look at the new technology built right in to the iOS Camera application.
HDR photos allow for superior pictures in daylight or other bright settings. Particularly when a shadow is cast on the subject or a part of the photo, it allows for a more accurate representation that doesn't allow the light or shadow sources to overpower the picture and result in a murky or discolored photo. The new feature aims to prevent photos that are "blown out" with too much light. It accomplishes this by taking three photos in rapid succession: one with normal exposure, one underexposed, and another overexposed.
Tested on an iPhone 4, the HDR function is in fact a great option for users built right in to the native Camera application. If a picture is appropriately focused before it is snapped, the resulting photo is often superior to the regular picture.
iOS 4.1 also fixes bugs that have existed in iOS 4, including a problematic proximity sensor issue that would cause the touchscreen to sometimes become active when a user was on a call. It also addresses problems with Bluetooth connectivity, and slow performance for users running the iPhone 3G.
The latest version of iOS also brings the ability to upload HD video over Wi-Fi, including uploads to YouTube. It also allows for TV show rentals, which were unveiled alongside the new Apple TV introduced Wednesday. And iOS 4.1 also ships with Game Center, Apple's social media service for gamers with friend’s lists and achievements.
iOS 4.1 has become available for recent generation iPhones and iPod touches on Wednesday Sept 8.
To sum up, we find that the new version of iPod and iPhone adds the battery life, games, HDR photos, video and talking book etc functions, but the supported formats of video and audio don’t be added.
Audio formats supported: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE-AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
TV and Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format
They could not support DVDs. Is it possible that we could watch DVD with iPod? I search this question on Google and find good software to solve this question. Nidesoft DVD Ripper provides you an easy and fast way to rip dvd to your iPod and iPhone’s compatible formats, just follow below step by step guide.
Firstly, download this software from: http://www.nidesoft.com/downloads/dvd-ripper.exe
Install and run it!
Step 1: Insert the DVD disc into the DVD Drive.
Click the Open DVD button, browse your computer, and find the DVD folder of the movie. (It is not only load DVD disc, but also could open a disk backup’s directory.)
bc8685d.jpg
Step 2: Click the "profile" button and select the format for your player.
Step 3: Click the "convert" button. Please wait before the conversion succeeds!
Now, I could enjoy the videos with any other player. In addition, you may also use Nidesoft Video Converter which could convert video or audio files between all popular formats. It can help us to convert video formats for players. Both software are good assistant for iPod and iPhone.

In the conference, Apple Company not only launched the new version of iPod Touch and iOS 4.1, but also published the updates of iPod shuffle, iPod nano, iTunes 10 and Apple TV. I don’t introduce them in this article. If you have some interesting about them, you may search them on Google.

Review Windows Live Messenger 2009 and how to record MSN webcam

Some days ago, Microsoft released the betas of the latest versions of its Windows Live Suite – dubbed “Wave 3”, which will also encompass a huge redesign of all the entire Windows Live product line, online and offline. In this update, all of the Windows Live family components have had a redesign, but the biggest has had to be Windows Live Messenger 2009.
Actually, the old versions of Windows Live Messenger or MSN, as most of us used to call it, has gained rich users through out the world. But, just like other software tools from Microsoft, they also bring much complaining. So how about the new Live Messenger? I just upgraded to the latest Windows Live Messenger today and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised with the major changes they have made with the UI and the features.
This 14MB download took just a few minutes in my tests, though we had to proceed with care to prevent Windows Live Messenger from installing unwanted items, such as a desktop shortcut or Rhapsody music software. Once installed, Windows Live Messenger displays a drop-down menu of features along the top, contacts within the center pane, a search box on the bottom, and tabs for eBay, Rhapsody, and other services along the left. Microsoft fans will like the integration with MSN Spaces and the company's other properties. However, we wish we could hide the animated panel of ads at the bottom.
Then I fantasized a while in the new features of Live Messenger 2009. Because I've been using Windows Live Messenger formerly MSN Messenger for over a more than 5 years, I found that now it really has developed into a fine messenger. After initial testing, I found very little to complain about; in fact, while I could spend an entire week talking about all the cool things, I decided to isolate my reviews on several to new cool features which make Windows Live Messenger 2009 better.
New Vista style look of the main UI
The main sign-in screen has a new clean look with warm colors. A clean and a well defined layout. Taking a page from Vista, Messenger 2009 features a brand new “glassy” look on all the client’s windows, helping it to mesh better with Microsoft’s latest OS. The crystal-cleanliness of the entire client gives the IM a sleeker look outside the original blue and green outfit.
The background is now customizable, like it has been in MSN v8.5; but this time, you can add a preset theme, or “scenes”, or create your own with an image of your choice. As well, you have also the choice to mix and match the colors, with one can be the color for the header, and another can be for the color of the bottom part of Messenger. We suggest you stick with the same color for both, but this feature is pretty interesting.
New contact organization and displaying
The biggest out of the redesign is the contact list (see left). The entire thing has gotten a massive redesign, but still has not departed from the original idea that there should not be any menu bars.
Before you start organizing your contacts into groups, be forewarned: the 2009 Messenger experience is a little different from version 8.5. Now, your friends will go into “categories.” Meanwhile, you can pair different folks into “Groups” which help facilitate Messenger 9.0’s powerful new group chat feature. The development illustrates a strong commitment to streamlining communications and the group chat feature is no exception.
We all have a small circle we talk to most on IM and now, Messenger 2009 makes it easier to find them on our contacts list with the “favorites” category. Organize this section at anytime; when your favorites sign-on, you’ll see them up top, front and center. Simple and effective.
Another brand new thing is “Favorites”, which allow you to make a list of “favorite” contacts. This, effectively, is not a new category, but just a section where you can drag and drop friends or family members that you like. As well, the Favorites section is given a different activity indicator setting, but you can change that as well.
Customizable chat window
Greatly improved video phone call
Windows Live Messenger video call quality is better than ever. With the most recent Messenger release and a quality webcam, you can now experience a clearer, sharper picture with full-screen VGA video. True VGA video (640x480) is up to four times better resolution then prior solutions when switched to full screen. To experience a true VGA video call, you will need the latest version of Windows Live Messenger, a webcam, a PC with a dual core processor and broadband Internet connection.
However, the evolution of Windows Live Messenger between 8.5 and 9.0 in terms of video call capabilities does not stop here. The instant messaging client now brings to the table superior connection time when users initiate a video call, as well as a video-centric interface available outside of full screen mode. Starting with version 9.0, Windows Live Messenger is now a part of Windows Live Essentials, a package designed to centralize all the components that have been separated from the Windows operating system.
An interesting MSN webcam recorder for you
The video call of Live Messenger has evolved to a new and higher level. But there is no recording function. It is really a pity, because so many users of MSN are eager to be able to record MSN webcam video and save on the PC. Here I would introduce a Third-Party software tool which could help you easily to achieve this objective.
Camersoft MSN Video Recorder is a professional recorder software for Windows Live Messenger. It could record MSN webcam during video call with your friends or family and save as AVI video files on your PC or laptop.
This MSN webcam recorder is very easy to use, only a few mouse clicks are needed to complete MSN recording work. In addition, the MSN video recorder is integrated with an advanced Video Converter component, which could be used to convert your videos, whether the recorded AVI or other videos like FLV, MP4, etc... to many formats and support rich portable players and mobile devices like: iPod, iPhone, BlackBerry, Zune and so on.
It is very useful feature and I could convert the recorded files to my iPod and share with others, really very interesting and joyful.
