The car can still start by letting it run down a hill, or by towing or pushing. The solenoid turns the starter motor when you try to start the engine. If the car is moving and you put it in gear and let out the clutch it does the same thing. It's only a temporary solution but you should be able to pick up a cheap solenoid in a scrap dealers and they're easy enough to fit.

No no crank no start issue on a 2001 F150 4.2 liter engine

If it's not doing anything for as lights or power check your battery but if you have power I would check the starter cellonoid on the inner fender and see if they are working with the ignition

Cellonoid pac relaced in tranny did not help the problem of slipping gear at any speed you are going, like losing third gear and engine light coming on when this happens intermittantly

Time for a transaxle rebuild

You should know once they slip, they have
been doing so for awhile & your done

No need to try a need solenoid pack or clean that one

To rebuild that trans now you will spend more than the car is worth, get rid of it

1996 Dodge Intrepid: Could someone tell me where the engine ground strap goes to and from. I know mine is broken. Could this be the reason I suspect a problem with BCM? Airbag lite on and off, lose

The earth strap goes from any solid mount on the engine to any solid mount on the chassis. I dont know if this will help solve all of your problems but it certainly wont do any harm.

My LG TROMM Washing machine squeals when it is filling the water into the drum. I wonder if anyone knows the part that needs to be replaced so I can purchase it and replace it myself. I'm guessing it might...

You are right! The valve is bad not opening all the way. Get the model # and go to PCAPPLIANCE.COM and order a new valve. Two screws in the back and you slide the top back and up to get it off. Then you will see the valves.

96 jeep that wont start.

Locate the starter and have someone turn the key for you. While they are turning the key, check for 12v+ at the smallest wire on the starter. If there is 12v+ present then the starter is bad.

Truck won't start, lights, gauges, radio works, loud clicking ( like a woodpecker ) noise coming from down under engine area

sounds like your starter has a dead spot. time to replace. you can try to get it going by having someone hold the key in the start position and tapping the starter with a small hammer. Just make sure the truck is in park and has the hand brake on for safety. If this works, you just saved a tow charge.
