Treager bbq keeps tripping breakers

I would strongly recommend you pull the control panel and inspect the fuse. Before tripping a breaker, your GFS outlet should trip, and/or blow the fuse.

If the unit is tripping circuits, then there is likely a short. Given the material draw from the hot rod, I would start with that. Putting a multi-meter on it to test voltage, should give you a basis to confirm with Treager if it's within spec. Sometimes it's simpler to replace the rod, but this can add up quickly if not the root issue.

GPS-75-200 anode replacement

The anode is located under the power vent.
Remove power vent to gain access.
Otherwise, remove Hot water nipple and install combo anode rod. If odor is the reason for replacement, then installing a combo without removing the old anode will not solve odor problem until old anode completely dissolves over time.
Copy following link for specific information and illustrations, including odor elimination using hydrogen peroxide.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Replace-anode-rod.html

For easy access next time, you can remove old anode and plug hole, and then install combo rod.
If longevity of tank is reason you are accessing the anode, you can add a second combo anode in addition to the original anode and give longer protection

What is the best recipe for cooking corn

There are literally thousands of recipes for cooking corn on the internet. Here is just one of them, if this is not to your liking chose from the wide choice by just Googling for Corn recipes.

Corn on the cob - grilled with Chili and Basil Butter

4 large ears of corn on the cob

Chili and basil butter

125 gr butter
1 large chili
5 large basil leaves
1 clove garlic - crushed
salt/pepper

Peel back the husks from the corn, leaving them attached at the base. Remove silky hair from corn and discard. Fold husks back over corn and tie with a piece of string to keep closed. Some people say you must soak the corn in water for a couple of hours..well, I did not and I think the result was still perfect. Heat your grill, BBQ or griddle panir?t=widgetsamazon-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=b0000936k2 until hot and place the corn on the grill.ir?t=widgetsamazon-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=b00004w499

In a food processorir?t=widgetsamazon-20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=b0000645ym, add all the ingredients for the butter and pulse until well blended. Use for basting the corn while grilling.

Turn the corn frequently while grilling, all the time basting the corn. Serve with more of that delicious butter as a side dish to a BBQ or as a wholesome vegetarian supper!

How to char-broil burgers

You want to know how to char broil hamburgers right? Here is what you do! Start your BBQ 5 to 10 minutes before you put your burgers on (for gas BBQ) and let the metal racks heat up. Keep the top closed to let the heat go through the unit.

If your using a charcoal bbq wait until your coils are white hot and the racks are as hot as you can get them.

Don't buy the hamburger meat that has the smaller amount of fat in it. Get the stuff that has 15 to 20% fat in it. The juice in the fat will help cook the meat and taste better in a burger.

Put your rack on the lowest place as close to your fire/coals as possible.

When the bbq is hot Take your patties and plut them on the rack. If its hot enough you should hear a sizzle sound. DO NOT TURN THE MEAT. Let it sit on the grill and every few minutes take your spatula and press the meat flat on the grill to release more juices and get more attention from the flame or coals. This is what makes the black grill lines on the meat.

You only flip a grilled burger one time after putting it on the bbq. It should cook at least ten minutes or more on one side. If you turn the meat and there are no marks on it then you didn't wait long enough.
