SOURCE: faking attention is considered one

Faking attention - would be pretending to listen to someone who is talking and making them think you are actually interested in what they are saying. Some people fake attention so they will not seem rude to the speaker. Others do it because the person speaking is an authority figure and they do not want to get into trouble. Guy's do it when their girlfriends are babbling and so on.

You want an example of "faking attention"?

My Sister loves to talk. She talks 24/7 and does not stop. The things that she talks about are silly and useless knowlege. I can only tolerate her for small periods of time before the noise irritates me and makes me angry. Sometimes when she is talking about nothing that I want to hear about, my mind wonders and thinks about other things that I am interested in. While my mind in wondering, I no longer hear what she is saying. Allowing my mind to wonder blocks out her speaking and gives me a little break. While my mind is wondering, my eyes and attention seemed fixed on her as if I were listening. I have even learned to say "really" or "umm hmm" whenever she pauses between sentences in order to fake that I am paying attention. When she is finished speaking I have no clue what she thinks that we spoke about? It is a mean thing to do but all of us are guilty of it at some point in our lives.

At 50,000 miles generally involves an oil and filter change, tire rotation, and a safety inspection. A visual inspections of the brakes, belts and hoses, inspecting for any fluid leaks, listening for any abnormal noises, and paying attention to any irregularities in the operation of the vehicle. I dont undestand what it means watts

u dont need to because all most all retailers lie about power outputs of their products for Example. If a product says 180W it cant actually physiclly do this its very hard to explain but 180W is the Equivalent to 16W RMS so when u see these amplifiers that say a 1000W take no notice of them coz there **** fake's that can Probably only hold about 2W RMS. i dont get all of it and i did a sound Engineering course Basically in the future i advise you to only buy something that says the RMS Wattage eg. Type of brands that will be accurate watts are A brand called MISSION very good at average price's, second TEAC,QUAD,maybe DENON but not too sure on them, but all these brands make seriously powerfull amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, ect hope this helps you my friend

Aperture sticky

I'm not sure if you mean the lens barrier on the out side of the camera, the shutter that takes the picture or the high speed shutter.
If the outside barrier is sticky, it may have water soluble stuff on it like jam or syrup.
I clean this area very carefully with a Q-tip moistened with ONE drop of lens cleaner. Carefully clean by pushing the barrier back into the lens sideways, gently, and cleaning under the edge of the lens cover slightly. This is easier to do if you remove the batteries from the camera with the lens out.
Caution - you CAN jam the lens barriers. You can pop out the barriers. I suggest getting a shop to look at it.

Need to find out what a warning light means. dont have owners manual

It warns you that something in the engine or within the car needs attention. The warning light is usually yellow in color. Example: low gas warning-light. It will stay 'on' till the problem is fixed. You could sdrive the car, but be aware, be warned!

If a red light comes 'on', it indicates something improper has happened, needing immediate attention. An example is a door that was not fully closed. This red-light also will stay 'on' till the problem is fixed.

Shutter

Do you really mean the shutter? Or do you mean the lens barrier? The lens barrier opens in front of the lens when you go to take a photo.

Assuming it is the lens barrier which is stuck open, the cause is usually dust/grit. A series of "puffs" with a large bulbed blower, e.g.a Giotto, should help clear it.

If it's been caused by liquid ("coke" is a favourite!) then the sugar is holding it open. A little (very little) ethyl alcohol dropped on the lens and allowed to percolate around the barrier area should sort it.

If it is the shutter you mean, then that is a workshop job.
