If you go to the www.brother.com site, and look under downloads, by model number, one of the options should be to get a print management s/w package. it's a nice utility for maintenance

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You might have to uninstall the printer restart your computer then reinstall your printer

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to ports(COM&LPT) + to expand you should see a communication port and Ecp printer port

you might see a yellow question / exclamation ? ! mark or a red X this will mean you need to install a new driver for this device right click to update driver

select properties again you will have the similar options also you can troubleshoot the device

you might have many prints backed up ((make sure you have the printer turned off)) otherwise it might print another page

if you have multiple prints in the queue you will have to open a file that you are about to print click ok a page will open with a

display print queue tab you can see all prints right click on the ones you don't need select cancel

Local Print Spooler Service is not runing.

This means tha Print Spooler service is disabled. Click COMPUTER or MY COMPUTER icon, then click Manage. Expand the Services and Applications, then click Services. Scroll down to look for the Print Spooler service, double-click it, change its STARTUP type to automatic and then click the option to start the service. Once done, try printing again. Good luck.

I have 5150 it has full black cartridge not much color almost out I want to print in black and it will not goes trough the motion not print though just light blue.

Your description of the problem means that in your word processor you have specified color printing. Here you must change it to B&W. Then it will print black. Also do the same in Print manager.
