Go to settings, connection, USB Mode and change to Mass storage. Connect the phone and a new drive will appear on My Computer. That's the Phone's memory card. Copy your music to \mobile\audio.

Open the device manager and check to see if the audio drivers are there. Any device that needs drivers will have a yellow question mark next to them. If they aren't there, you will need to go to Dell's support site and download them. If they are, then unistall the audio/sound drivers and reboot. The machine will find the sound card and reinstall the drivers. With some sound drivers, but not all, they do not automatically adjust the sound settings, leaving the volume very low or muted, therefore you may need to manually adjust the sound settings.
Hi parmic, can your phone connect to the internet GPRS for surfing in order to download MP3 music? or in another way try to download the music to your PC desktop or laptop then use the transfer cable to transfer the music to your phone. cheers hope this help!!
