The best you can fit is an AGP 8X type card. They are difficult to find now, so the prices of decent cards are going up. Your computer is about 3 generations behind, You would get better graphics performance by buying a new motherboard, CPU and memory bundle. It would be cheaper in the long run, as you could then upgrade the graphics card in the future and then upgrade the CPU as well. You can still keep the case and other computer peripherals you already use. But if you want an AGP card look on the Auction sites.

I moved all of my photos onto a 2g memory card and then onto my computer. I tried to do the same with my videos but they won't go.

maybe your videos are too large to fit on that card, right click the file and go to properties to see what size the video.

New 2g cards (2) both fit vivitar 8027, but when inserted camera says card full / no file

Hello. If you can go to your menu search for the option to "format". Choose ok. This may make the card ready to use in your camera however will erase everything on the card and possibly pictures stored in your internal memory. So be sure to copy any stored pictures before formatting.

What sound card is compatible with my asus p5vd2-vm se im going to buy a altec lansing 6 channel speeaker pls. help

Your ASUS motherboard model has on-board sound. You are asking what 3rd party card to install?

Your motherboard supports:

PCI
PCIe x1
PCIe x16

A 3rd party sound card of your choosing that will fit in one of these vacant slots will do nicely.

Version of PCI Express

my motherboard has a PCI-E 1.0 it's an Asus Commando graphics is 9600GT which is PCI-E 2.0 and it runs fine till now no prob about that mate PCI-E 1.0 and 2.0 is backwards compatible so it should work fine make sure your graphics card is working @ x16 coz when I first plug my graphics it runs only @ x2 then I reset the bios and re-seat the graphics now fully functional x16 of PCI-E lanes.

Graphics card problem

Hi rovin,
So you bought an XFX GeForce 256MB video card. You're board has 1 free AGP 8x video slot & 3 PCI (White opened slots).
You mention there is not slot for the new card. (What type of video card did you buy)? PCI-E, AGP or PCI?
The only slot you're board does not have is a PCI-Express.
Look in you're manual on page 1-7 for the location of the AGP video card slot.
94565e6.jpg If you bought the wrong card, exchange it for an AGP 8x or PCI.
The ASUS P5PE-VM uses a integrated Intel® 865G chipset with integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 Technology, which uses you're system memory to function.
If you need a manual you can download it from Asus. Click on the link to open to the P5PE-VM download site.

I hope you find this helpful.
