My digidoor2 open and close open

The closing force may make it think the door is hitting an obstruction. Also make sure the door is not binding in the track and all the rollers are oiled and work smoothly. And nothing is obstruction the optical sensor. Thx

When I press to open the door goes up, however when closing it only goes down halfway then opens up again

The circuit that prevents door from closing when there is an obstruction is responsible. Check to make sure that the laser light by the bottom of the door is getting to the receiver on the other side of the door. Make sure there is nothing obstructing that ray. If so the door will attempt to close , then stop and return back to the top.

My garage door when closing goes down to about 1 foot from floor then goes back up. There is no obstruction. It will not go down to floor and stay down. HELP

There might not be an obstruction, but the opener THINKS there's an obstruction.
Check that there is nothing between the lenses of the two sensors. Even a spider web can trigger the safety.
If there is truly NOTHING obstructing the sensors' view of each other, then you should carefully re-align the sensors.
Also, make sure that all the screws and bolts on the rails are good and tight. As the door is used, bolts can loosen, which makes the rails start to vibrate and rattle during the door's movement. Eventually, all this vibration can make the sensors lose alignment.

I have a liftmaster Model 1240. Door will open by remote or wall opener. The door will only close while holding wall opener button down. If i try and close via remote, light starts blinking and door...

The only thing that will cause the main light to flash 10 times and the door to reverse to the open position is a sensor problem. Make sure the light on each sensor is on and not flickering ever so slightly. Make sure they are not moving when the door starts to close. Lights on sensors should not blink. One light should stay on constantly and the other sensors light should go off when you block the sensors.

Garage door goes up fine but when you press to come down it goes down one foot, seems like it hits something and returns.

There is a sensor which checks for obstructions, are you sure there is nothing impeding drive path?Inspect the drive path carefully. If it reaches a part of the drive path which causes it to slip or stick slightly this will tell it not to continue. Also but less likely have you checked that the optical sensor is clean and aligned. Make sure there is nothing blocking the optics.

Sears Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door goes all the way down, then back up. The lights do not blink. Checked for obstructions, none. Nothing blocking the sensors. What can I do to fix this?

If the door is hitting the floor and then reversing you need to adjust the 'down limit' which is on the side of the motor unit. Turn it a bit in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Some tweaking may be necessary.

Garage door opener just quit. No obstructions on

If your opener is less than 90 days old it is still in warranty regardless of who installed it. If it is a Sears, call them. Otherwise google the manufacturer and get their customer service number. Have you checked your circuit breakers? If nothing is working it may be unplugged.

The door wont close.

sounds like sensor beams are out of alignment or obstructed. make sure nothing is blocking the line between the two beams then check whether anything is on the lenses or if one is visibly out of alignment. if one is out of alignment, with your hand held remote in hand make small adjustments (up or down ) and test after each adjustment until it closes. when it does close, tighten the nut that holds it in position.

My garage door won't close. I push the remote and

If your springs were sprung it would not be that easy to open. The reason it crashes down is because they have the door balanced good for the door opener.Check on the door opener itself and see where the reset button is.Maybe something was obstructing to not let it open..Look for the reset and that should get you going on the door opening and closing.Just going to have to figure it out why it did that..

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at
