Remove the bottom cover. Make note where are each screw located because they're different.
After you removed the entire cover, you'll have access to the hard drive.
The screws you need to remove have an arrow mark.

How do I replace the right hinge on the lid of a Sony Vaio PCG-6Z4L?

That link for the PCG-K series is no good (e.g. a site for how to take apart an printer would be just as useful; sorry Martin Murray).
I have the same laptop as you (PCG-6Z4L), couldn't find a site. Like most laptops, it's about getting all the screws out and then being gentle with the plastic barbs (spudger or fingernail helps). In our case, there's only one hidden screw, discoverable by taking off the memory plate. The other tricky part is separating the top most plastic keyboard/palmrest assembly from the rest (then your on to getting at things like the hinge).
I've attached a pic so that you can see your laptop in two pieces (i.e. that part of the lighter grey stays with the darker grey; again, spudger or fingernail and knowing the two separate should help).
