Camera wont come on battery gets really hot

if it is a digical if so the batteries have to be rechargeable and be over 1000 because the rest just arnt good enough . because of the technolgy in the camara , and because of what it can do do . the batteries have to be the best . their will be more power comeing out of the camara and excceds the battereis. its like a mobile phone , the phone is a 16 volt batteri and you plug a 5 voult charger in the phone . it gets realy hot because their is insufficaint charger for the volt . we wiill have almost blew the charge on the batteris aswell as the connection on the camara or ie [phone]. leave for 24 hours and then try the rechargeable energizer 2000 plus is one of the best .replace the old for new and try the enegizers

My vivitar vivicam 8025 has been charging for a while and it wont turn on with out the charger . when connected to the charger and turned on it says MSDC on a blue screen.

Make sure the battery is in the camara correctly. I had the problem with the blue screen and MSDC showing and it would not hold a charge. the battery has to be in correctly. It will go in wrong and look right so match up the silver three marks on the battery to the three marks inside the camara where the battery goes. It worked after i did that. Hope this helps!!!

I need a charger for my Norcent XIAS digital camara, cannot locate one

I can't find one either. This is an external charger for a lithium battery. It is likely that the battery used is also used in other models of camera. Quite possibly the chargers are available but listed under the battery identification number rather than the camera model. If you could let me know the battery number I will have another look.

My camara wont turn on

Here are the steps:

1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.

2. Clean the battery contacts.

a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera

3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.

If issue persists, call 1.800.235.6325 for repair.

Thanks.

HOW 2 CHARGE MY CAMARA WITH RECHAGABLE BATTERIES

Hey,

You should take the rechargeable batteries out from the camera and place them on the appropriate charger for them.

if you have a power adapter that connects to the camera, that might work, but I would recommend using the appropriate charger that is meant for the batteries.

if you didn't receive a charger with the batteries I would ask the shop for a charger or buy a generic charger that can charge your batteries safely.

Thanks and good luck.

I CHARGED THE CAMARA OVER NIGHT AND THE CAMARA IS

First off, There is nothing inside the camera that is user, by you, fixable. As simple as it sounds, be sure you are pressing the actual ON/OFF button of the camera. Assured of that and if still NOT working, make sure that the BATTERY is installed correctly, in most cameras and other devices the BATTERY will fit in the device in a designed way to make it idiot proof. Assured of that, make sure that you actually have POWER going to the CHARGER. To make sure that you have power at the outlet you have chosen, plug a lamp into it to determine that the outlet is hot. Assured of that, Now plug your charger in. There should be a light of some color on the charger to indicate that it is doing its job. Either correctly put your BATTERY in the charger or connect your camera to the charger. If your charger has an installed indicator light, it should NOW be illuminated. If it IS so, then your charger most likely works. If NOT illuminated, when it should be, most likely it does not work in which case seek another charger. IF the charger appears to BE working but the BATTERY still does NOT charge, then try another BATTERY (a NEW one). If after eliminating all possible problems that can be addressed by you the user and after TRYING all of the above suggestions, the camera STILL does not work, return it and whine and try for a refund or exchange for one that works or remember that; "All things man made are subject to fail and as if by magic, you have found one that proves it".

Finding acessories

According to the jazz camera website (http://www.jazzcameras.com/Product_Details/DV-169.htm) The DV169 uses a "NP 60 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery" I would do an ebay or google shopping search for "NP 60 Charger"...by the looks of it these are used by many different digital camera companies, but make sure to compare yours to the one in the pictures...plus look at your battery itself and make sure it says NP-60 somewhere on it. If you prevoiusly had to plug something directly into the Jazz camera, now you would just remove the bettery from the unit and charge it externally. Plus it looks like there are a bunch of deals where you could get a second battery out of it too.
