Hello.

If your printer is on your network, the driver is installed on your computer, not on the server.

If you haven't done so, set up your printer on the network. Once your printer sees your network, then any computer on your network would/could see the printer. Install the printer's driver for that operating system. In other words, if you have Windows 7 installed on the computer, find the printer through your network and install the Windows 7 driver for that printer. If you have Windows XP on another computer that is on your network, install the Windows XP driver for the printer on that computer.

Hope this helps.

Run a cnet cnp430 on windows 7

I hope you are connecting the print server to a network hub or switch and not trying to connect directly to your Win 7 machine.
There are no drivers, a print server is a network device. Connect the ethernet cable from print server to your router. connect your printer to the switch. Search the network for the printer.

Netgear ps121v2 Smart Wizard does not appear

If you are running WIndows 7 64 bit, you need to run the 64 bit version of the installer. Look in the directory ...\bin\driver\MFP\Utilityx64
Also in, Windows 7 you need to run the install wizard as administrator, since it is installing drivers.Right click on SetupWizard.exe and select "Run As Asministrator".

I have window 7 64bit and the keyspan software installed fine but the server utility does not recognize the print server. I allowed port 3842 tcp and udp through the windows firewall but still no luck.

for key span server to work with windows 7 install windows xp mode to windows 7 ( this can be downloaded from microsoft website if you have windows 7 pro and above. if you have windows 7 home then install windows virtual pc, start it up and insert a windows xp pro install disk. for info on this google 'workaround to install windows xp mode in windows 7 home premium and home basic') Once you have windows xp mode running, install the keyspan server utility int he virtual machine and setup as usuall. then share the printer. go to windows 7 devices and printers and add a printer, chose a network printer, select the new virtual machine and select the shared printer. In order for the printer to work just start up the keyspan program from windows 7 and print....your welcome.

MY WINDOWS 7 LAPTOP WONT RECOGNISE PRINT SERVER

Please note that all old devices drivers have upto windows xp or 2003 server files becuase now only windows 7 has been launched in the market. So don't worry you can download print server drivers from the site .

If your print server is USB connected , the windows 7 will say found new hardware after that it will ask you update drivers, there you can click on have disk and locate the driver files where you have kept and clickon windows 2000 or xp from here you can select the driver and install it. Defently your print server will work.

Unable to use printer over network with Server 2003 64Bit

Probably the best and easiest solution for your problem would be to buy an EDIMAX USB-Ethernet print server, or something equivalent. I have several of these running on the network at work. They're easy to setup and they work great.
