If you are able to do this ... you need to get a job at Microsoft ...

This is a nearly impossible task.

The solution to this problem is to return the computer to its owner (user) and let them log in ... then change the password. Alternatively, you could reload the OS.

How to Password Protect your Windows 7?

Is you computer safe enough? Does your <b>Windows 7 ask for a login password</b> when you start your PC? It should. If not, a logon password must be created as soon as possible. This article will tell you how to make a user login password on Win7. It is easy and usually takes less than a few minutes<br /> It is a big security concern if you do not <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/create-windows-7-logon-password/"><b>have a Windows 7 logon password</b></a>. Without a password, anyone in your office or home has full and unrestricted access to everything on your PC. Fortunately, creating a <b>new Windows 7 login password</b> is very simple.<br /> <b>Note:</b> If you're trying to <b>create a new Windows 7 user password</b> because you've forgotten yours and can't get in to Win7, see <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/forgot-windows-7-password/"><b>how to recover a forgotten Windows 7 Password</b></a>.<br /> Follow the steps below to create a password for your Windows 7 User account: Here's How: <b>1</b>. Click on <b>'Start</b>' and then '<b>Control Panel</b>'.<br /><img src="start-control-panel-windows7.jpg" /> <b>2</b>. Click on the '<b>User Accounts and Family Safety'</b> link.<br /><img src="user-accounts-and-family-safety.jpg" /> <b>Note:</b> If you're viewing the Large icons or Small icons view of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Simply click on the <b>User Accounts icon</b> and proceed to Step 4. In my computer, my win7 user name is Andy. So I click its icon.<br /><img src="click-on-user-accounts-icon-windows7.jpg" /> <b>3</b>. Click <b>'change your windows password'</b> on the <b>'User Accounts'</b> area.<br /><img src="change-your-windows-7-password.jpg" /> <b>4</b>. In the '<b>Make changes to your user account</b>' area of the User Accounts window, click the '<b>Create a password for your account'</b> link.<br /><img src="create-a-password-for-your-windows7-account.jpg" /> <b>5</b>. In the first two asterisk text boxes, enter the password you want to start using. Entering the password twice helps to make sure that you typed your new logon password correctly.<br /> In this example I use my birthday as my logon password. But I advise you not to use your birthday as a new password because it is easy to guess. You should <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/create-a-strong-password/"><b>create a strong password</b></a>.<br /><img src="create-a-new-windows-7-logon-password.jpg" /> <b>6</b>. In the final text box, you're asked to Type a <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/windows-7-logon-password-hint/"><b>password hint</b></a>. This step is optional but I highly recommend that you use it. If you try logging in to Windows 7 but enter the wrong password, this hint will pop up, hopefully jogging your memory.<br /> <b>7</b>. Click the <b>'Create password'</b> button to confirm your new password.<br /> <b>8</b>. After creating a new password, you will be returned to the User Accounts window. Now you can see the user account 'Andy' has been <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/create-password-to-protect-your-user-account-on-windows-7-beta/"><b>password protected</b></a>.<br /><a href="http://www.windows7password.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/user-password-protected-windows-7-big.jpg"><img src="user-password-protected-windows-7.jpg" /></a><br /><br /> <b>9</b>. Now that your Windows 7 account has a password setup, you must use this password to log on to Windows 7 from this point forward.<br /> <b>Tips:</b> You may want to know How to <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/automatically-login-windows-7-without-typing-user-password/">Automatically Login Windows 7 Without Typing User Password</a>.<br /> <b><img src="create-a-windows-7-password-reset-disk.jpg" />10</b>. <b>Create a Windows 7 password reset disk</b>. While not a required part of creating a new password, I highly recommend that you do this. A password reset disk will protect you from the consequences of forgetting your new Windows 7 password. If you <a href="http://www.windows7password.net/forgot-windows-7-password/"><b>lost Windows 7 account password</b></a> and you don't have created a password reset disk, you can use <a href="http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com/"><b>this efficient and safe tool</b></a>.<br /> Tips: Not a Windows 7 user? Bought a Fugitsu T4020D with a broken screen at a yard sale. Fixed the screen but it is password locked at BIOS, and before Windows loads. How can I unlock the BIOS to get into this thing?

1. Bypass Windows 7 Logon Password with Command Prompt While computer couldn't boot normally or notebook is infected with Trojans or malware, you can get rid of them by starting computer in Windows Safe Mode. Furthermore, when lost or forgot Windows password, you can also bypass Windows 7 logon password easily in Safe Mode.
In Windows 7, there are 3 different types of safe modes to choose, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and Safe Mode with Command Prompt. And the following guide is about how to bypass Windows login password with Command Prompt in Safe Mode. With net user command in Windows safe mode, you can reset Windows password effectively. Details as follows:
Step 1: Start or restart your Windows 7 computer.
Step 2: Press F8 to enter Advanced Boot Options before the Windows 7 loading screen appears.
Step 3: Choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt in the coming screen, and then press Enter.
Step 4: Wait for Windows 7 files loading until Windows login screen comes up.
Step 5: Log in Windows with an administrator account until you see login screen.
Step 6: A Command Prompt appears. Type net user in the Command Prompt and then hit Enter. All Windows user accounts will be listed for you.
Step 7: Type net user iSunshare 12345 and hit Enter.
Note: "iSunshare" is your locked Windows user account name. And "12345" means the new password you want to reset for the locked account. User account "iSunshare" will be reset with new password "12345".
Step 8: The new password has been successfully reset for user when the command is completed successfully.
Step 9: Login Windows 7 PC with the new password.
Whenever you need to access Windows in Safe Mode, an administrator account password is necessary. So it is highly recommended that write down Windows password and store it or creating a Windows password recovery disk before Windows password lost.

Hi,

This is only possible is you are using Windows XP. If your operating system is windows Xp, follow the steps below:

  1. Turn on your laptop and allow it get to the stage where is will ask for user/log password
  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del your keyboard.
  3. A user name and password prompt will pop up.
  4. On the user name type in "administrator
  5. On the password, type in "administrator"
  6. and you windows will open, go to control panel from there to change the password.
That's all. In other words, the user name and password is administrator.

But in the case of windows Vista, you will have to re-run windows operating system, because vista security is very tight and it is difficult to break into its password..
